Does this mean we’re all gonna die...again???

Somebody been smokin’ da happy smoke. LOL. Lightning has been “incendiary” and starting wildfires from the beginning of time. Glad you folks in the “science community” finally woke up and noticed it.

What bunk, lighting, all lightning can start a fire, this article make claims with so many qualifiers (may.. could,, etc) as to be a joke, pure alarmist claptrap intended to create existential fear.
These people are just horrible monsters in their desire to cause existential dread for their political narrative to achieve power over others in their dystopian goals.

This is my favorite form of modern “journalism.” May and maybe and might and could and other forms of predicting the future, whether tomorrow or in a century’s time. How exciting to contemplate what “may surge.” Or might soar. Or....

Every day it's something else.
Skunks will be skunkier because of climate change.
See? Anyone can do it.

As long as it hits Washington DC hardest I’m okay with it.

More likely they’re trying to provide more cover for their geo weapons.

We need a kinder, gentler form of lightning.

I didn’t wish to post a reply on this thread.I tried not to. I fought it as long as I could. But I was compelled against my will to do so. Climate change made me do it. Help us Joe!

I don't know about historic lightning activity. But looking at rainfall patterns over the past two thousand years in Europe, Asia, and north Africa, the warm periods are the good times. It's the cooling periods when you have the longest droughts followed by damaging gully washers. It's why Europe changed from a mainly cereal diet to incorporating a lot of potatoes. During the Little Ice Age they learned from the Peruvian natives that potato plants can handle those kind of rain patterns better than cereals.
Every time we eat either cereal or potatoes it should be a reminder that life in the Modern Warm Period is a good time to be alive.
