There are a few scientific problems with this “research” in that there is no “warming” AND any lightning bolt is well above the energy required to ignite suitable vegetative fuels.
In non-scientific terms, the stupid of this burns hotter than a thousand lightning bolts.
However, don’t laugh too hard at them. Crap like this is how you guarantee yourself government and corporate grants in perpetuity. Too few understand that all “climate research” is built on lies funded by our own government and corporate interests.
Publish the truth? Lose your job, lose your tenure, and don’t even bother applying for grants.
Publish a lie? You get tenure, endless grants, and awards.
Money from Uncle Sugar and special interests have created an industry that lies non-stop. These are not inconsequential lies either..... they are very expensive when it is translated to policy, regulation, taxes, “green energy”, and cancellation of industries.
Good thing they have so many wind generators they make great lightning rods solar panels second hit hardest.
