Last night on YouTube there popped up the opening of the 1967 Academy Awards. The video showed the first 15 minutes or so. In attendance Raquel Welsh, Governor Ronald and Nancy Regan, Steve Maqueen, Alan Arkin, Rock Hudson, Jimmy Stewart and hosted by Bob Hope. Bob was funny. The people were glamorous stars. We didn’t know Rock was gay. Bob even made a joke about Bobby Kennedy.

She was the reason they all went to prison. She would not take part in the murders.
Do you not know who Linda Kasabian was? She did NOT take part in the murders though they brought her and was a witness for the prosecution. Without Kasabian Manson and all the others would be free.

Manson held her little baby hostage basically in care by another family member who was loyal to him. Linda was raped and beaten by Manson before those nights and feared for her life and her child’s life. She understood how bad he was. But yes, thankfully she testified against them all. That took courage.
GOD gave her her OWN brain cells.

I got angry every time one of them came up for parole, as it reminded me that they were all — unjustly — still alive. But I was OK with Kasabian walking free because it meant the others didn’t.
