“Thompson admitting the Committee was so incompetent it let some leftist flunkies and that ABC producer screen the tapes
no wonder the innocent parts were left out”
**************************************************************
I can not blame any of it on incompetence or simply using unintelligent people.
It was all deliberate. Everyone was all in on the plan. Nothing happened due to innocent mistakes.
Blaming anything on stupidity or incompetence is to say the actors have integrity, but mistakes were made. Baloney.
Yep, the leftist activist media makes it difficult for sure.
Chansley’s lawyers didn’t have access to these tapes.
Chansley’s lawyers didn’t have access to these tapes.
Chansley’s lawyers didn’t have access to these tapes.
Shall I repeat
Chansley’s lawyers didn’t have access to these tapes.
I think those Committee members should be locked in a room while 6-700 of those POLITICAL PRISONERS are given the key, plus horse whips and brass knuckles ...
I believe you are wrong that Epps walked inside the capital. Tucker’s videos of Epps all showed him outside and he was at the base of the stairs on the unruly side of the building about the time he testified he was back at his hotel.
I did not see any video of him inside and that would have been even bigger news because his lack of entry was the reasoning they gave to not charge him.
...
and the judges who sentenced them should be locked in there too.
Chansley’s lawyers didn’t have access to these tapes.
This is the most shocking thing to me as well. Unbelievable and I don’t see how an appellate court could go along with this without upending many decades of ironclad precedent (Brady).
We had a team of employees who kind of went through the video.
So the January 6 Select Committee made charges on the word of someone else without any proof.
If anyone buys that I have a nice bridge for sale and it come with some magic beans.
And, I know just where to put those magic beans... 😎👍
Chansley’s lawyers didn’t have access to these tapes.
IANAL but I think in order for a retrial to take place Chansley would have to recant his guilty plea.
All of the video will need to be released to the public. People do not believe the media or politicians. Release them all with no commentary.
Amen
“I’m actually not aware of any member of the committee who had access [to the footage]. We had a team of employees who kind of went through the video,” he said.
So, the Committee possessed vast amounts of evidence it omitted to review, any or all of which might alter a true assessment of what happened, but they jumped straight to conclusions anyway. Heck of a job, Mr Chairman.
Check
Ah...yes...I wondered if it was Redfield. Thanks.
I think the argument could be made that his guilty plea was obtained under severe/extreme duress, and essentially coerced. Wouldn't that be sufficient to render it invalid?
Of course, it’s not just Chansley’s lawyers, but none of the other defendants and their lawyers had access to exculpatory information. That denial of access is counter to legal precedent and ripe for sanctions against all who participated in limiting the access or ignoring their obligation to provide such to defendants. That will include judges, for certain, as well.
Tampering with evidence is illegal under both federal and state law. The January 6 committee should get prison time. And the federal government owes millions to those imprisoned using this fraud.

It would, provided you could produce evidence of such coercion (e.g. pictures of bruises obtained during his detention).
Not important for these Dem congresscritters to view the evidence for themselves. After all, they hired a ABC producer to go through the videos they wanted to promote for their insurrection narrative.
How in the world did they think they could get away with this absurd perversion of the truth about Jan. 6?
