True...Ugly, slow, can barely fly strongly enough to clear objects on the ground...and, of course, they $hit everywhere they take up residence.

Interesting. That’s what the Nazis were going to call it if Barbarossa had succeeded, Reichskommissariat Muscovy.

I did not know that one country could change the official name of a another country?

But in all seriousness, nobody is going to call Russia anything other than Russia, but it does appear that Putin had better learn from history in order to not repeat history and end up dependent, in this case on China rather than the Mongols.

Of course they can't. Idiotic clown theater, as if there aren't more important things to worry about over there.

This is the kind of nonsense that will only strengthen Russian resolve.

Or it may remind them where they came from, and don’t want to go back to.

I love the way they say trying to create an “anti-Russia Ukraine.” -- hey, Putin did that by invading back in 2014

The thing, Saca —> “Russia” is a plural term.

That’s why the title of the Romanov Tsars was “Tsar of ALL the RussiaS”

The Kyivan Rus before the mongol conquest was a loose confederation named as per Turkic/Slavic cardinal colors: “White” for West (Belarus/Bialorus), Black for north, Red for south etc.).

Muscowy was a creation of Vladimir-Suzdal and from the 13th century onwards was the tax collector for the Great Khans. They took Mongol culture and merged it with Kyivan Rus.

Ukraine, Muscowy and Bialorus are all “Rus” states i.e. east Slavic.

They can change what they call it in their own language.

Like in English we say China, Japan, Germany, India, Poland, Albania, Georgia, Sweden etc. but in their own languages they are Zhonggua, Nihon, Deutschland, Bharat, Polska, Shqipteria, Zakartvelo, Sverige

https://sonar21.com/it-aint-stalingrad-it-aint-verdun-it-is-bakhmut/

The situation on the ground is pretty straightforward. The Wagner Group is advancing on all fronts around Bakhmut and has fire control of key roads the Ukrainians need for resupply. Warming temperatures are turning the fields to the west of Bakhmut into mud, making vehicle access or egress very difficult for Ukrainian forces. The Wagner Group, with massive support from the Russian Army’s logistics command, has a decided advantage in artillery, shells, rockets, Anti-Tank Guided Missiles, medical support, food, electronic warfare and man power. ###

Russia’s defense industry is running full tilt and is producing the artillery shells, tanks, missiles and planes that Russia requires to destroy the Ukrainian military. Ukraine, even with Western support, has no answer for this.

Funny how the Russians are seemingly advancing every day, according to you appeaseniks and Kremlin trolls, but they never seem to be able to capture the town. We’ve been hearing this same drivel for months now. Might want to try something new.

More than that: Moscovy is trying to lay claim to Kyiv by claiming that they’re all “Russians.” This is Zelenskyy’s way of invalidating that by correctly dissociating “Russia” from the Moscow regime. Imagine if Austria resisted the Nazis’ claim to be unifying Germans by insisting on calling Germany, “Prussia” or “Deutschland.”

Here’s a thought. Before the war Russia had 10.5 million excess Russian women. China currently has 34 million excess men. Vlad sleeps to be trying to kill off even more young Russian men while at the same time making Russia dependent on China.
