You may USE 4 gallons less, but since water isn’t created or lost, how did you SAVE 4 gallons of water?

We bought a Kenmore washer, dryer and fridge in 1970 when we bought our first house. We were transferred a number of times and brought those appliances with us. We finally moved into our long term house in 1980 and still had all three. Believe it or not, I never had a problem with the washer or fridge and the dryer only needed a belt. We sold that house in 2003 and those appliances stayed behind. In this home I’m on my second set of washer/ dryer and my 3rd fridge.

I suspect the system will be self-correcting given enough time.

The nation’s founders designed the system to be self-correcting, or at least to have the means built-in for the People to take control and “correct” little problems like tyrants running the government. Unfortunately, far too few people have the guts to actually use the tools the founders provided. Most seem content to sit idly by while the tyrants take away everything that these people thought they could keep by sitting on their hands.

I have an efficient Samsung washer. It seems to clean clothes with less water. No smell. However, you have to leave the washer door open when not in use. Or it will smell moldy.

Same with mine....... It’s a front loader, large capacity. Does a great job.

This is well worth the read for anyone trying to find a washer that doesn't make you want to tear your hair out...

Buying a new washing machine.
