“...more “populist” than the Bushes?”

Yes. By far.

"He’s a professional politician."

As opposed to Trump who was literally the President and is seeking the office again. Lol. Once you are elected President, you kinda lose the whole "I'm an outsider!" angle. Let it go.

What I’m saying is, politics is how DeSantis earns his keep. It’s his chosen career, his job. He is a career politician. Trump is not. In fact, Trump loses money being in politics, lots of money. I think that is a very important distinction. Putting your trust in career politicians usually leads to disappointment. Look at Washington D.C. Reflect on that.

Soros, as well as the entire crooked political establishment, appears to be rooting for DeSantis to defeat Trump. What is your high IQ take on that?

Pretty sure George Soros wants Trump to win because he’s an easier-to-beat general election opponent, or did you skim over that part of his screed? Or do you just selectively pick and choose which parts of what Soros said you take seriously?

I counter by saying putting your trust in politicians who have effectively won one election (Trump) while losing several subsequent elections also leads to disappointment.

Make no mistake, Trump is a politician. He is a rich politician (I repeat myself), but he's a politician nonetheless. And he's currently spending his time talking against people in his own party and praising Democrats. Reflect on that.
