Senior coffee at McDonald’s, 85 cents. I guess I’m making out like a bandit.

First they came for the Senior Discount, and I said nothing.

Then they came for the Veteran’s Discount.

A habit I need to develop now that I’m 62......”do you offer a senior discount?”

OBTW some establishments actually honor 55 and older

I wonder what status gets you a discount on a $5 cup of Starbucks?

With enough lobbying they could make the senior discount mandatory.

The only one I regularly remember to ask for is at Culvers. I think it’s 10% discount.

Where I used to live (moved a couple years ago) the small town grocery had a Senior Day on Tuesday with a discount as long as you had their rewards card.

Dunkin offers 5% discount for seniors. I don’t drink coffee so rarely there.

Many places have senior discounts.

Subway has a BIG discount for veterans. Lowe’s offers 10% for veterans. Baskin & Robbins has a veterans discount as well.

Exactly. Not throwing shade on McDonald’s, mind you. But even with the price of eggs, I can make a three egg sausage and cheese omelet and coffee at home for less than the amount of a decent tip at a diner.

” Senior Day on Tuesday with a discount as long as you had their rewards card.”

Too many big outfits ‘trick’ seniors with this discount AND ONLY OFFER IT IF THEY CAN TRACK YOU.

NOT !

Someday they will be selling your purchase history to medicare or insurance ‘partners’

I don’t know anything about any apps. I thought the gray hair was the membership card.

But it’s hard to do that if you’re not at home. It’s not as though I drive there to save a quarter on a coffee.
