No, actually the truth is nearly the opposite. If there’s one lesson from this that stands above the rest, it’s that a corrupt justice system doesn’t need a reason to indict you. There’s nothing criminal in what Trump did. And yet he’s still about to be charged. The corrupt forces in our government will never run out of excuses to try to prosecute Trump.

You are correct. Trumps attacks started on the eve of Desantis’s massive re-election victory, which is desperate in itself. And have only devolved into more ridiculousness. Now, the Only Trumps are faux outraged when Desantis makes any response in return.

No. They always spew out happy talk about how they are going to beat their opponent like a rented mule so they can keep the contributions coming in. Trump does it, DeSantis does it, every candidate does it. Win, lose, or just playing the game, elections are big business and huge amounts of cash are involved, and there are ways to direct some of that money right into the candidates' pockets.

They sure would. My hope has always been to see them ON THE SAME TICKET. Who knows, miracles can always happen. And thanks for the NON-DERANGED POST. Recently it seems we have a lot of formerly sane FReepers trying to “out Mean Girl” one another on their petty and silly attacks on DeSantis. His only “sins” that I see are having been the best Governor of our time and having been RE-ELECTED IN A MASSIVE LANDSLIDE.

Most FR members once supported conservative candidates.
DeSantis is a true conservative and has governed as such.
The Trump cultists have no substantive reason to hate DeSantis other than innuendo and outright lies.

Most rational FReepers would accept either as our nominee and want the guns turned on Biden and the left, not on each other.
Not every Trump supporter is a DeSantis hater.
Not every DeSantis supporter is a Trump hater.
It is a small group of FReeper Trump supporters that I call cultists that are irrational.
DeSantis won't win as many votes in the general as Trump did in 2020. Problem is, neither will Trump, even with the whole sympathy boost from what is obviously an unjust political prosecution. And no other R candidate will even come close.
Even with the economy in the toilet, renewed crackdowns on the un-boosted, and a free Taiwan a distant memory, the demoncraps won't have to cheat as much in 2024, although they still will. And why not? The DAs, judges, media and state GOPes will applaud the complete rigging of the election.
Wish it wasn't so, but we've just about run out of boxes.
