I recently posted a summary of the late Idi Amin’s rule in Uganda, when the power grid went down as the major hydro station shut off, it was rumored and assumed that the many dead bodies in the water intake had clogged up the system.

The reasons for the power grid collapse are pretty obvious, but no one will dare admit them. New Aid money will not help or solve any of the problems. The power grids and generators need maintenance, along with people who can do those jobs.

The people who do those jobs have left or are leaving and there are no trained replacements and will not be. Can’t wait until our VP gets there and says everything will be taken care of and fixed.

Whatever progress Africa once had is eroding away and is for the most part a Den of corruption with starvation and pestilence at their door. They have squandered their resources and have nothing to show for it.

If China and Russia think they save that Continent more power to them.

Africans are going to disperse from the cities. Go back to the countryside, where they might have remaining family. Ger back to farming to eat and survive.

We should be doing the same here. Send the druggies out to State sponsored work farms out in the stix. And of course execute the dealers.

Yep
Full of tribes yet today. It’s the tribalism that kept them down and not colonialism. Not whitey but their chiefs own hand.

Right now South Africa is on the same path as Zimbabwe. Kenya is headed the same way. In the Congo there is virtually no infrastructure left. If you have an explanation for this outside of tribalism and corruption I’d like to here it. I’m listening. Perhaps you’d rather just call people names.

THIS. ⬇️↘️

***I somehow doubt Beijing is too concerned about potentially getting into a hot war with a country that can’t keep its lights on and gives away all of its missiles to Ukraine. Best of luck, Taiwan. You may need to find a new protector.***

Ref the Chinese in Africa, one astute Freeper described it as “irresistible force meets immovable object”. So yes, it will be interesting.

China needs Africa's resources. They have no need for Africans.

I wouldn’t be too smug about the BRICS right now. But yeah, SA is a basket case.

Can we go back to calling Africa “The Dark Continent” again?

I couldn’t easily find the thread on FR, but a few months ago someone posted this documentary about the Chinese trying to build a road in the DRC, but Africa Kept Winning:

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=kOkrYW3vF0o

It was a fun thread.

... an average of two new coal plants per week for the past couple of years >B>China’s carbon output is more than double that of the United States, where the energy industry has been slashing emissions for years. And yet you didn’t hear a peep out of John Kerry and the rest of the climate hecklers who flew their private jets to Davos so they could scold everyone else. China can apparently do what they like because they’re a “developing nation.”

China bought Joe and Hunter and most of DC...I'm guessing John Kerry got more than diamonds and millions of dollars from China. More than cash 'jobs' for his kid and 'friends'...
