It seems like the winning strategy would be to import lots of Chinese to do any jobs that need above-60-IQ intelligence.
Then, when there’s enough Chinese to establish a secure beachhead, exterminate the Africans.

The Empire of Dust documentary is rather slow and tedious to watch, but perhaps that’s the point (and has its funny moments). Trying to do anything in the DRC is slow, tedious and frustrating. It’s not just the workers, it’s systemic — everything from government incompetence and duplicity to unreliable vendors and suppliers. Just getting a load a gravel is a long, frustrating, crazy-making task. The doggedness of the Chinese in the face of all that was quite something. The Freeper who described it as “irresistible force meets immovable object” really had a point.
You are correct they care nothing for the local people. I admit I am quite prejudiced against Chinese colonialism as I am livid at what they have done in Cambodia, and indulge in a bit of schadenfreude when they meet their match in Africa Always Wins. By nature, I’m not much given to schadenfreude, but ... well, I am just so horrified at and sickened by what they have done to Cambodia, it’s nice to see them get some comeuppance.
