It’s strange that our government is providing all these free food programs. Every place they open a school feeding program, the percent of students who are overweight and obese goes up dramatically. Why do they want fat kids? Obesity has more than 35 co-morbidities.
BUT-—THEY CAN ALL AFFORD THEIR CELL PHONES-——
Many families have a cell phone bill higher than a mortgage payment-—BUT the MORTGAGE Company makes you QUALIFY-—
Time for a sugary tax.
Instead they’ll tax fats instead of carbs.
Or proteins. Especially because it's bad for the environment. Plant substitutes would be exempt.
ASK YOURSELF:::
Do the people who administer food stamps EVER coss check with the school system to see how many kids on food stamps are also getting free breakfasts & lunches at school?
IF Mommy has 4 kids-—all school age-—:
That would be 4 times 5 days a week==20 meals -—Times 2 meals a day at school==40 meals a week—that the kids get in school.
Times 9 months a year==(39 weeks)===39 TIMES 40===1560 meals a year that BOTH THE SCHOOL & FOOD STAMPS are providing......
No wonder Mommy is selling her food stamps for booze & drugs-—We have handed her the methods & there is NO audit.
OR the kids are OBESE.

I once read a Dinesh D’Souza article where he quoted a friend from India. Dinesh asked him why he likes America. He replied, “Because America is the ONLY country where even the poor people are fat.” Excellent answer.
Might be true 20 years ago. But carbs are cheap. Humans are not as active as they used to be. A few countries are a mess such as Haiti and Venezuela but otherwise, it's not that expensive to load up your meals on rice and sugar.

are you kiddding, the schools get fed $$$ for the school breakfast, lunch programs, and they will never give that up and food stamps are administered by the states.
If folks thought Fedzilla’s definition of hunger was a crock, yer gonna love how it defines the term that replaced it, food insecurity...
