The Soviet Union and the United States set official policy for all of the countries of NATO, all of the Eastern European countries, and for all of the future without letting all those other nations know it, or writing it down?

I think that would have been quite a treaty, no one can find such a treaty.

So, anything that needs to be funded has to be funded.

It seems to be the best source for ranking world corruption and the most relied on.

He must have found Bill and Hillary Clinton’s secret on how they did it.

“So, anything that needs to be funded has to be funded.”

Uh, say what? Can you say conflict of interest?

Don't you wonder if the people that finance studies/projects do so because they just might have a vested interest in the output of those studies/projects?

Doesn't strike you as just the LEAST questionable that a Globalist BANKING organization, of which most of the member state a socialist and corrupt, are creating an index on corruption?

REALLY?

Politicians becoming rich by abusing their office is all too common an evil. Its bad enough here in the US, but I reckon its worse in Russia and many other countries.

You sure are avoiding the facts on the world corruption rankings.

As far as funding, everything needs funding whether it is by Exxon or the U.S. Army, or the sources that Transparency International uses.

How we’re funded
We receive funding from a range of donors, including government agencies, multilateral institutions, foundations, the private sector and individuals. Funding may be unrestricted or tied to specific projects or programmes.

It is our policy to accept funding – whether monetary or in kind – from any donor, provided that acceptance does not impair our independence to pursue our mission or endanger our integrity and reputation. For more information, refer to our donations policy.

Who funds us
The income of the secretariat is predominantly provided by institutional donors, with government agencies and multilateral donors contributing 82 per cent of the funds for 2021.

There is no treaty. It’s common sense. It was common sense when I lived in Brussels and its common sense now. Many diplomats said this then but now it seems to be conveniently forgotten. We look like Colonial England now.

Many high kings of Cold War diplomacy warned us about pushing NATO eastward and here we are... Bush I, Kissinger, Kennan, James Baker, and the list goes on. How quickly we forget.

The origin of the betrayal claim - https://www.france24.com/en/russia/20220130-did-nato-betray-russia-by-expanding-to-the-east

“”To understand Russia’s claims of betrayal, it is necessary to review the reassurances then US secretary of state James A. Baker made to former Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev during a meeting on February 9, 1990. In a discussion on the status of a reunited Germany, the two men agreed that NATO would not extend past the territory of East Germany, a promise repeated by NATO’s secretary general in a speech on May 17 that same year in Brussels.

Russia and the West finally struck an agreement in September that would allow NATO to station its troops beyond the Iron Curtain. However, the deal only concerned a reunified Germany, with further eastward expansion being inconceivable at the time.””

Hillary Clinton agrees with you and now everyone conveniently forgets this and says “well, there was no treaty”. Remember the great reset? What was that about? Where did Putin lie and what did he (and Gorbachev and even Yeltsin when he was sober) say?

Do you feel safer? What is the precedent with the Monroe Doctrine and didn’t that bring the US to the brink of war over Cuba in 1962? Are we the only nation that can have that?

If I told my neighbor that I would not tear down a fence between our properties but I tore it down anyways would his anger be justified? It’s not in writing, but I told him and he asked me numerous times not to do it. What if I died and my kids tore it down after my neighbor told them my agreement? Isn’t that the reason we sort of say if the fence was there for 10 years the property line is moved (to avoid civil disputes)?

What in the hell are we doing mucking around all over Eastern Europe? Don’t look now but my Screaming Eagles and All-Americans have large units in Poland. We pushed air assets forward for a nation that is NOT a NATO member!

Don’t you have the slightest bit of curiosity about all of this? I guess we have Blinking, Sniff, and Giggles in charge now so what could go wrong?

Lots of money to be made! Too bad so many people had to die so Western elites could make money?

We have no business there but starting during the W administration and really ramping up during the Obama administration we have been meddling in the Ukraine - some even say we did a color revolution. They have always had corruption problems but how did we make that better? Oh yeah, we got their prosecutor fired in return for a billion in aid.

Where are the American interests in a new Cold War in Europe regardless of what happens in the Ukraine? Frankly, we should be cutting back our presence in Europe. There is no threat from Russia. “NATO” (mostly us as always) spends over 17 times on defense what Russia does.

Honest question - Did you support Bosnia during the Clinton years? If so, why?

Nah.

I’m questioning your wisdom of using that useless index.

‘Facts’ from the world bank. USE LESS.

Next time just post a picture of you putting your fingers in your ears and closing your eyes, it would save time instead of playing this game.
