People who believe in liberty cater to consumers. People who believe in tyranny lecture consumers. Pretty basic stuff. Cut the price in half, make the cans unpainted and label the cans OBEY and they might get a loyal following of people who value truth in advertising.

I think another reason might also be that the Busch family sold their Midwestern beer business to some euro-trash conglomerate. People from outside the US don’t just don’t understand America. I worked for a company once that hired a Canadian sales mgr. For a big convention in Chicago he booked a meeting room at O’Hare airport so we could meet with some Japanese potential investors as soon as they arrived. He booked the Butch’Ohare room, Anyone want to guess what the giant mural on the wall of the room depicted? The Japanese left after five minutes and never took our calls again. Just thinking out loud.

Virtually all marketers try to get brand loyalty among young adults so it can have decades of ROI. The thinking is that young adults want to be part of a woke community that cares.
