Actually it 10 times less, about 0.04%.

Meanwhile, shutting down all the legacy coal and natural gas plants and not building nuclear plants.

Could there be anything more diabolical? No electricity, no private transportation.

Who the hell gave them the authority to destroy the economy, our livelihoods, and our freedoms like that? (rhetorical question — they are drunk-on-power communists and the proletariat is just too stupid to understand it)

When the entire nation relies on EV’s and the electrical grid, funded by China, China will unleash a Nuclear EMP shutting down all power. Then it shouldn’t take too long to take over when they are using gasoline powered vehicles.

We stop using oil, countries that live off oil dollars are going to go broke are we going to send them even more tax money?
I don't see the BRICS and most 2nd/3rd world countries adopting 1st world EV & windmill/solar nonsense.

“...how a gas that is 0.4%”

Think 400 PPM is 400/1,000,000x100=.04%. Nit picking I know.

There’s more Argon in the atmosphere than CO2.(0.94%)

BUT if there were no CO2, then all plant life would perish and so would all life dependent on plants, which is us.

Then they better figure out how they are going to recoup the tax revenue lost from gasoline sales.

That’s easy - toll roads everywhere as well as a per mileage tax when you register your EV car each year.

Pushing electric vehicles before a electrical grid can handle it yep it sounds like Biden and stooge crew idea.

I expect that from the left, but some on this forum are pushing it too.

we are the world’s largest user of oil.

if that stops turd world poop catchers will go broke. Libs will want to throw tax dollars at them.

I show this at charging stations when my fellow EV owners thank me for "doing" my "part to save the earth" or whatever. They always argue against the obvious that the Modern Warm Period is nothing more than the 3 past warm periods since Moses' day. As much gray hair as I have, I wasn't driving my ICE pickup to create the past few warm periods. LOL It's a cult.

The last one to argue with me over it was a mechanical engineer. Since I'm a software engineer and like science a bit myself, I got detailed with him. He told me that the Medieval Warm Period (roughly AD 900-1300) was in only the northern hemisphere. I asked him why two ikaite crystal studies in Antartica show Antartica was much warmer in the Medieval Warm Period than today. And the same for elephant seal husks being miles further south than elephant seals are today in Antartica. He said it just can't be, but couldn't tell me why. I asked him if he believes that sea levels are a proxy measurement for temperatures then how do we explain the written historical record of sea levels being further inland during the Medieval Warm Period and Roman Warm Period (time of Christ) than now. He couldn't -- said it can't be right. But that's because it's a cult.

That's the thing. Logic and reason don't work against a cult. I told him that when he's done being lied to by his cult, he can come to the real Truth, and that's Jesus. I pulled a 6-sided die I keep in my pocket as a witnessing tool for geeks who I think can process the improbability of things just happening to be just right for advanced life to exist on Earth, in our solar system, in our Milky Way galaxy, and even in the universe. IMHO those things are evidence of fine tuning (hat tip to Hugh Ross for the use of the term). He walked away back to his car (a Tesla -- an almost certain tell of cult membership LOL) before I got into the details.

Cult followers can't stand the Truth of Jesus.

True that. But don't forget the Dims' making electricity harder and harder to come by too. EV owners will be just as stranded as ICE owners.

The objective is to remove the ability to travel. Phase out ICE autos. Force impossibly expensive EVs with inadequate ability to recharge and easily shutdown with electronic controls. 15 minute "cities" where you are imprisoned.

They can (greater preferential absorption of photons at certain specific wavelengths from sunlight into vibrational/rotational quantum states of the CO2 molecule compared to other mokevules in the atmosphere) but they have to fudge the magnitude of the effect and ignore a bunch of other large scale data, as well as ignore or lie about historical trends.

The much discussed "kill switch" is mandated in all new cars, regardless of EV or ICE.

One reason my wife and I have both an EV car and an ICE pickup is to give us diversification in case the Dims make one energy source hard to come by. Basically, to keep us from driving on trips they have to make both gas and power hard to come by. If they're successful in limiting just one transportation energy source, we can drive the other car.

The main reason I got the EV was because I installed a lot of solar and made our house all electric. My theory is that the Dims won't cut off energy completely but will price it high to severely limit our use. (As an analogy, think of the Muslim nations that don't outright ban Christianity but limit it a lot by charging a jizya tax on non-Muslims.) As they keep raising prices of gasoline, natural gas, and power to limit our lifestyles, their stupid energy policies will limit my wife and me a lot less because our solar provides 80% of all the power we need in our all-electric home, including charging the EV (for local driving, obviously).

If I could drill and refine my own oil I would and have two ICE cars since they're better than EV's in most ways. Same for how I'd provide energy to my home if I could mine my own coal or drill my own natural gas. But I can't access those energy sources without going through the regulations and price hikes the Dims put up. Solar is the one energy source I can access on my own without begging the Dims for it. As intermittent as solar is, I've made it work for 80% of our energy needs both for our home and our driving (again, except for if we take one of the cars on a trip, which means buying power or gasoline depending on which car we take).

But that works well only because I'm in a really good situation for it and because I did a little nerd analysis of our energy consumption demands by season and time of day, and because I engineered my appliances to work together in a way that the entire project as a whole works better than the sum of its parts. My wife asked why I spent so much time studying the details before implementing it. I told her that the Dim bureaucrats do their share of number crunching before deciding what polices they want to implement and tweak. Us freedom lovers have to be equally as diligent at protecting ourselves from their efforts.

If you're a math or science geek (I'm a programmer who has nerd discussions with other programmers), maybe carry a 6-sided die in your pocket as a witnessing tool. Admittedly there have been only a couple of people who came to Jesus with this tactic. It's best use is in dispelling doubts among fellow Christians who start being impacted by the persistent Darwinism talk.

If you want to keep it local (i.e. properties about the Earth), pick something like the distance between the Earth and the sun. Show him or her the number 4 on the die, tell him that below 4 represents too short a distance to the sun, and above 4 represents too long a distance. Then roll the die. And point out that the die represents a 1 in 6 chance of happening to be right, but the reality is probably a lot smaller.

Repeat that with other properties of the earth. Repeat it with things about the solar system (i.e. age of the sun relative to age of the Earth, distance between Jupiter and Earth, etc.). If they say, "but there are other solar systems, so it's no surprise that at least one is just right", then discuss properties about the Milky Way galaxy or the entire universe that has to be just right. The two programmers who came to Jesus did it mainly from the 4 universal constants having to be just right for atoms to have cohesion and do molecular bonding. Because they were young (read: still playing video games) I told them that their game console has a reset button but the universal constants don't: if any one of them aren't right the first time there's no waiting billions of years for them to change or finding some other place in the universe where they're set just right. As universal constants they're either always right everywhere, or always wrong everywhere. Believing all of them just happen to be just right through random chance requires a lot more religion than believing in God.

Car sales in the U.S. have dropped from 11.41 million in 1986 to 2.86 million last year and now Biden has tripled the price of cars with a stroke of his pen?
