No. Trump is the presumptive nominee, his win was stolen in 2020 and anyone else running in the Republican primary is admitting they don’t believe 2020 was stolen.

Just because someone steals your bike doesn't mean I have to buy you a new one.

You suspect? Based on what?

Jeb was at DeSantis' inauguration. This is evidence of a deeply entrenched Bush-DeSantis cabal.

Trump filled his administration with recycled deep state swamp creatures from both Bush administrations. This is evidence of "draining the swamp."

I think he should run a campaign if he wants to, but should not go scorched earth.

Trump has been going scorched earth on DeSantis and DeSantis isn't even in the race yet.

Are you freaking kidding me? Obama was at Trump’s inauguration—does that make Trump a socialist? Bush was a former governor of the state. Of course he’d attend.

DeSantis once seemed to have a glide path to the Republican Party's presidential nomination.

Delusional.

You're are right. He has. That's what Trump does. I am thinking of DeSantis as a backup quarterback. It is NOT a relation of equals at this point. Trump is trying to keep DeSantis from getting critical mass, and have him lumped in with Haley and Asa Hutchinson and Pence and Vivek Ramaswamy. Trump is playing to win. DeSantis cannot win playing Trump's game. Trump has to lose it. Playing Cruz '24 is a good strategy for a weak second place and a permanently diminished role.

If DeSantis tries to go scorched earth on Trump. He will not win, but he may damage MAGA. MAGA has to outlast Trump. Vivek Ramaswamy is actually running an interesting campaign, and is not spending effort attacking Trump. He is working on demonstrating that he is independent, and also a philosophical thinker (not particularly a strength for Trump or DeSantis).

>>>He has been a good governor but has read bad timing and needs more seasoning. Desantis 2036. That’s when Trump’s VP will be done with their term. <<<
