At some point, volume becomes more problematic than weight.

I demand that the USPS, FedEx, and UPS base their shipping rates on the average sized package. If you want to ship something larger and heavier, you pay no more than the average rate.

What the government needs to do is expand the FAA. Make it the “Federal Aviation Administration for Transportation Accommodations and Social Services (FAATASS).

Why should I have to pay more to accommodate them? Eat less or pay more. Your choice.

Let’s see, I’ve managed to eat myself into morbid obesity so now everyone else in the world needs to make me feel ok about it. Oh, and pay for the consequences of my lack of self control.

The article has a picture of her. Width isn’t the only issue. She’s just about pushing into the seat in front of her. That’ll be the next request; demanding the seat in front of her be left empty so she can spill into it.

If you need one seat per cheek, perhaps you should PAY for them yourself. Other passengers' ticket prices increases to pay for super-bottomed riders is NOT a good idea.
Look at what baby mamas cost us now, for three generations, without sugar-daddies EVER being forced to pay for the support of their offspring........but then; parasites ALWAYS want someone else to pay for their stuff.....it's now "the American Way"......

“For plus-size passengers who purchase extra seats on their own, Chaney wants the airlines to fully reimburse their additional seats, saying this process should be ‘straightforward’. “
So, if a plus size passenger orders two meals in a restaurant, they should only pay for one? Or will they require the skinny guy at the next table to pay for their second meal?

I suggest it important to notice the word-substitution game being played on society. “Morbidly obese” is now “plus-sized.” So many arguments are being gamed by using different words in an attempt to win without having a cogent argument. Refusing to sit in less than one seat because a morbidly obese person is “larded” over into the seat you paid for is now “hate.” The object of these word substitution games is to confound those who fumble into using the words. Plus-sized? Sounds like a product, “new and improved,” and so on. But basically it's only social marketing of the objectionable as “reasonable,” and to disagree with them makes one a “denier” and a “hater.”
Once you see the gaming of the rules, their game is over.

The logical basis of ticket pricing should be by total weight of passenger and baggage. That is what the costs of the flight to the airline are.

Like Cowgirl of Justice said in an emergency it would take this tub of lard at least two trips to haul ass.

It used to be on a flight that I hoped a hot girl would sit next to me.
Now I’m happy if it’s just someone skinny…
