Here you go; unfortunately this site is on ice now, and many of the pictures no longer link properly. Still, this article is from 2019, long before the war. The CIA connection to the schism has been remarked upon by knowledgeable writers for years.

Moron, the incumbent Ukrainian president lost to the challenger Zelensky in 2019.

Ukraine Free elections with obstacles - the 2019 Ukrainian presidential elections

The 2019 Ukrainian presidential elections once again proved, for the sixth time in a row, that Ukrainian democracy is solid enough to allow a peaceful transfer of power. Outgoing President Petro Poroshenko accepted his defeat and cleared the way for his successor Volodymyr Zelensky.

A look at the two major post-Soviet neighbors shows that such a peaceful change of power is not a matter of fact elsewhere: In Belarus and the Russian Federation presidents Alyaksandr Lukashenka and Vladimir Putin since 1994 and 2000 have succeeded in preventing the transfer of power legitimized by elections.

The Saker is a Russian living in Florida.

'The Saker' is a pseudonym of Andrei Raevsky, an ex-patriot Russian domiciled in Florida. Prior to emigrating to the USA he had lived in Switzerland where he was granted Swiss citizenship. He worked for the International Red Cross and was later employed as a military analyst by the Geneva-based UN Institute for Disarmament Research (UNIDIR). His blog, the Vineyard of the Saker, reportedly got 50,000 page views per day from August - September 2014

When throwing around the moron tag, you should first grace, with a healthy pause, a reflective wall hanging.

Its moronic to suggest the Ukrainian elections were fixed, when the incumbent president was defeated by the challenger Zelensky, who received a landslide 73% of the vote.

Did Biden get 81,000,000 votes by voters, or were 81,000,000 ballots “counted”?

There is NO Ukrainian Orthodox Church outside of Ukraine. It's a church that has been created solely for political and propaganda purposes within the country.

What about that don't you understand?

Tired of people posting bs and then when caught, changing the subject.

You falsely disparaged the fairness of the 2019 Ukrainian presidential elections.

Right, because Russians eliminate any Ukrainian Orthodox Churches or any church or mosque that is independent from Moscow. Ownership is transferred to the Moscow Patriarch.

You’re clearly an idiot and more clearly a troll.

There is NO Ukrainian Orthodox Church outside of Ukraine.

That is because according to the unification council and the tomos of autocephaly issued by Constantinople those Orthodox Christians of Ukrainian provenance in the Orthodox diaspora are subject to the jurisdiction of the diocesan bishops of the Ecumenical Patriarchate.

It's a church that has been created solely for political and propaganda purposes within the country.

The Ukrainians have been seeking an independent church since the 17th century. Why should they not have one and why should Moscow insist on maintaining authority over non-Russians? Why can you not accept that the Ukrainians want independence from Moscow?

JANUARY 14, 2019

The recent decision by the Ukrainian Orthodox Church to split from its Russian counterpart after more than 300 years of being linked reflects not only the continuing military conflict between the two countries in recent years, but also the important political role Orthodox Christianity plays in the region.

That's hardly news. He has a bio section on his site, and wrote frequently about his background, including his time working there.

The article I quoted was not written by him, but by a guest writer. The Saker featured a lot of writers on the site besides just Andre. It was a good resource to get the Russian side of the story from.

He took it down because he felt like America was so involved in the war in Ukraine that he was endangering himself (as an immigrant of some sort) by seemingly taking the side of "America's enemy".

Another critic silenced by the Deep State. The Saker and his wife
