It’s pretty forgettable, about what you’d expect from a rocker who doesn’t have the spark anymore. The video is packed with standard tropes about church and religion. Also some references to racism, poverty, and police brutality thrown in. I guess he’s a completist.

This person (like most other rich entertainers of his ilk) is obviously ignoring the idea that it would take U.S. (and Canadian) criminals, along with the few Adam Lanzas and Eric Harrises and Dylan Klebolds included, hundreds of centuries to equal the number of people murdered by governments who ordered their citizenry legally disarmed (Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot, and Mao).
All well and good, but gun violence is committed by the ones who have disregard for the law and other peoples rights. People who use guns to defend themselves are not committing gun violence.
