Is sprayed bear spray inflammable? I’ll admit seeing an armed robber run away in excruciating pain while on fire does have its advantages. But it is still less desirable than putting a .45 ACP round through his dog tags.

What a ridiculous idea-Let’s see Nicholas confront an intruder with bear spray, and then we can evaluate what he suggests-bear spray is a non-lethal deterrent-to be used in this rural area if your neighbor’s dog gets through the fence to chase pets, poultry, scatter trash, etc-also when hiking in the woods-we are told not to kill mountain lions or bears in this county-they aren’t likely to attack you as long as they have game to eat anyway-not after a blast of spray-not so with an intruder, and bear spray may not be effective-I’m sticking with firearms for home/personal defense, thanks...

isn’t there some kind of old folk wisdom that says never bring bear spray to a gun fight?
Bear sprays are a EPA regulated product with it’s own EPA number.
As such, it is a violation of federal law to use the products other than it’s labeled purpose.
