From what sense I can make of the story, McFadden is(was) a serial child rapist and murderer, and many missing teen crimes have just been solved.
So it was Jesse Mcfadden (he), who was convicted for rape in 2003. Maybe he helped to lure them. I’m going to guess that there was drug and maybe sex involvement, possibly cartel (between New Mexico and Kansas City).

It's looking like the "some others" were McFadden's wife and three children. He had two sons and a daughter and his daughter was friends with the two teenage victims. They were having a sleepover.
Yet if you do the math, the guy was in prison for 16 years so they must've been his stepchildren.

Holy crap! Chiefs was my first thought too. I never read the book, but I was gripped by the miniseries as a kid.

Good cast as I recall. Charleston Heston, Wayne Roger’s, one of the Carridine boys,Bill Dee Williams, John Goodman. Stuart Woods was author of book. The movie was treaty close to the mini series.
The girls went to have a weekend sleepover at the guy’s house and at least one of the fathers knew about it and was okay with it and this wasnt the first time.
That tells you a lot right there. Dont care if his own kids were there, how could you possibly trust someone like that with a known record? Many times the kids are made to bring the girls to these guys as a bargain that he wont touch them if they keep supplying other kids.

this is what happens when you don't enforce the law....they let this guy out not only early, but with an accusation that he was contacting someone outside of prison in a child porn case, which he was supposed to go to court for yesterday....

but still, people are just far too shallow to really research who they become attached to....far too willing to send two young teens to "visit" the family at the killing house...
Oklahoma officials let this maniac out of prison and he killed six people before offing himself.
Those Oklahoma officials (names?!?) who let this murderer out should be charged, tried, and convicted as codefendants in the murders.
