Had 2 Jehovah witnesses come to my place (4 miles off the paved road) to harangue me about the Lord, had them sit at the table on the front porch, I sat and listened for about five minutes.
Got up and told them I would bring some refreshments (it was a hot day) and brought out a bottle of whiskey and 3 glasses.

My nieces’ son at age 5 has switched back and forth from being a farmer or a baseball player. Hubby told me to tell my niece he could be both. A base-ball playing farmer! A pro-player who coaches the little league T-ball team wants to enroll him in a player’s clinic for young hitters since the little fellow never has to hit from the “T” and has natural talent.
So we have decided he will eventually go “pro” and provide for all of us in our old age. Or, he may just decide to be a farmer. Let the children be children and quit transferring adult mental issues on to them.
