By the look of what she’s eating at noon I’d be surprised if the fat slob could get off her ass to stand.
They can't even see the irony in that. The people were free to stand or not to stand. They were free to sing or not sing. In the Soviet Union, they would have been jailed or killed for not standing and singing.
And move to a commie nation like China or North Korea!
Tie her to a branch, slather her in barbecue sauce, place an apple in her mouth and start a fire under her! She’d scream like a little piggy so fast heads would spin!

The sooner that people start realizing that a certain proportion of “internet users” are either bots or paid disinformation agents rather than real people, the sooner everyone can stop freaking the hell out at every “reaction” on the internet, or being influenced by that reaction.

China plays its national anthem all the time.
In Thailand they play it on the loudspeaker at the subway station everyday at at 5:00. If you are not Thai you do not have to sing. But if you do not stand, you are arrested.
“Gee, I hope she didn’t spill her Bud Lite.”
Look at the photo of the beer taps imbedded in the article. Bud Light is notably absent.
There is no doubt in my mind, if we ever add another State, they will demand the flag be completely redesigned.
Then flying the Stars and Stripes will become tantamount to flying the Confederate Flag.
In Thailand, they still play their national anthem before every movie in the theater. Even the kathoeys (trans) stand for it and have no issue.
At my neighborhood brewery, the regulars all stand for the national anthem when performed on TV before a sporting event. Unfortunately, the only sporting event that routinely broadcast the national anthem these days is the NHL. The good news, however, is that this pub has the NHL package and so we hear the national anthem almost every day during the season.

Standing in a restaurant for a TV show is a bit much.
But, that said, if it makes you think you are in a dangerous situation go home and never go back to that restaurant. Make the world a better place by permanently removing yourself from it.

There is a Mission Barbeque near me. Every day at noon they play the national anthem. Everyone stands and salutes the flag. Warms my heart.
Where do I send a box of rattlesnakes for her???
