You have no answers for any of the main points that I make. You refuse to recognize the patterns and motivations of our own leadership.

It makes zero sense that our response to the fall of the Soviet Union would be to institute a “get tough” approach with a nation that just recently thwarted Communism, while simultaneously applying a “be nice” policy towards China.

The only logical explanation for it is that our leadership was unhappy about the fall of the Soviet Union, and understood why it fell. Hence, the shared hostility of both US and EU leadership towards Eastern european countries who resist the march towards enforcing woke, hypersecular, Globalist policies throughout the entire Western world. As well as hostility towards any Western European countries who are having 2nd thoughts about being bullied and pushed in this direction.

Feel free to keep deluding yourself that the US and EU are the good guys. A lot of us used to live in that fantasy world. Many of us have woken up. But many are apparently still asleep.

And for those of you who are still snoozing away, Putin is a villain who fits neatly into tbe kind of totally fake, but nostalgically comforting worldview that our corrupt and disingenuous leaders use as a blankie to pull over your eyes.

The world was happily willing to enter into trade agreements with Russia. Unfortunately, Russia could not contain its imperial ambition.

a nation that just recently thwarted Communism

Russia did not "thwart" communism, Reagan forced it to the economic breaking point with an arms race.

shared hostility of both US and EU leadership towards Eastern european countries who resist the march towards enforcing woke

Poland is an example of a more Christian country than Russia that resists being woke. There is NO great hostility to it from the US. Why?

And for those of you who are still snoozing away, Putin is a villain

Yes, Putin is a villain for unleashing an unprovoked invasion on its Christian neighbor in order to annex territory which unleashed massive misery, destruction and death.

Can't understand how any Christian can find that admirable.

Poland’s Conservative Law & Justice party are the dominant force in Polish politics.

Go do a search for articles about them. They’re full of handwringing, and negative comparisons to other Eastern European “neo fascist” movements.

You cherry pick Poland, because their leaders have made more of an effort than other Eastern European countries to strike a balance between staying in the good graces of the EU and not alienating their own citizens.

But the rhetoric directed towards Poland’s dominant political Conservativism is full of the same secularist name calling and dire warnings that are applied to the rest of Eastern Europe.

On the other hand, Western journalists and plenty of Western political operatives are full of praise for the CCP.

The friendliness towards China and hostility towards Eastern European Christian nationalism go hand in hand for Western elites.

But go ahead and make believe this dynamic doesn’t exist. Make believe it doesn’t play into the Western elite’s long term geopolitical strategies. Keep looking for any little exceptions to the rule you can find to deny it’s existence.

And keep ignoring the fact the the Wolfowitz doctrine of “weaken Russia” was drawn up immediately after the fall of the Iron Curtain.

And while Reagan’s policies helped to weaken the USSR, the Russian people ultimately rose up to create a bloodless coup. And if Reagan’s policies worked so well, why weren’t the same policies applied to China?

Because the Western elites hated Reagan as much as they hate Eastern European Christian nationalism. American politicians and journalists absolutely loathed having to pretend they were happy about the fall of the Berlin Wall.

And it’s this sentiment that inspired our leaders to want to keep Russia and the rest of Eastern Europe as far away from each other as possible, right from the moment the Russian people danced in the streets with Boris Yeltsin in 1993.

You cherry pick Poland

Its one example. Lithuania, is another very religious country. All of eastern Europe is very religious.

the Russian people ultimately rose up to create a bloodless coup.

I remember crowds of Poles "rising up" against the Soviet Union, that's why Poland threw out the Soviet leadership and was led by dissidents like Walesa. Havel in the Czech Republic. In Russia the Soviet/KGB leadership continued - Gorbachev(Soviet Leader), Yeltsin(First Secretary of the Moscow City Committee of the Communist Party) then Putin, former KGB. Not exactly dissidents/reformers.

The friendliness towards China

Yes, US was mistaken about China.

And keep ignoring the fact the the Wolfowitz doctrine of “weaken Russia”

Please, the Obama administration did not try to appease Putin? Secretary of State Hillary Clinton didn't present Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov with a red button with the English word "reset"? Obama didn't abandon missile defense shield in Poland and Czech Republic? Obama didn't tell Medved, "tell Putin I will have more flexibility after election"? Obama didn't arm Ukraine for two years after Russia seized Crimea and started separatist "republics" in Ukraine. That's confronting Russia?

Maybe Wolfowitz was right to fear a resurgent empire building Russia that still to this day talks about "historic " Russian land. Where did we hear that before, maybe before WW2 in Germany?

Russian people ultimately rose up to create a bloodless coup.

Yes, they threw out all the communists...Oh wait, all the communists stayed in charge. That's why Russia failed to reform and succeed as Poland, Czech Republic, Estonian Lithuania, etc did.

And it’s this sentiment that inspired our leaders to want to keep Russia and the rest of Eastern Europe as far away from each other as possible

Right, Russia and Eastern Europe would be one happy family if not for "our leaders" and not because of Katyn, Holodomor, Operations Spring and Priboi, 1968 Soviet Invasion of Czechoslovakia, etc. Sure
