Yes, we had “Not my President” during Trump, etc. He was still the President. And Charles will still be King.
As far as I’m concerned, Queen Elizabeth was the last monarch, the rest are amateurs.
The Crown can be dissolved by Parliament. Parliament is the voice of the people. If The Crown is ever dissolved it will be at the wish of the people of Great Britain. It would be a mistake even though King Charles is not worthy of the people as their King.
Prince William comes across as a worthy replacement for Queen Elizabeth. He’s not on her level, because wasn’t formed by a culture of wartime, but I he doesn’t come across as damaged in any way.

Most of Hollywood (the agents, executives, producers, writers, etc.) are second, third, in some cases fourth generation descendants of people who worked in Hollywood.
The Ivy League accepts many "legacy" students, whose families have attended for generations.
Publishing, finance, law, politics ... all filled with nepotistic hires and even dynasties. The Kennedys, Bushes, Rockefellers, Rothchilds, Cuomos, etc. -- Nancy Pelosi's daughter is being talked about as having a bright political future.
Nothing unique about King Charles inheriting his job. A bit more blatant, perhaps, but nepotism is as old as man.
If he follows King Charles I, he just may be the last.
I was shocked to read recently that William, Kate’s husband, was cheating on her.
If he is, he is as much of a PUTZ as his goofy father is.
The Monarchy is not as much fun to see as it used to be.

The World’s richest welfare recipients. I suspect it will continue for a long time because of its soap opera entertainment value. Like the millions of people who spend time and money to watch people moving a ball all over the place.
It’s a good gig, no question.
However, the Royal Family does generate more revenue for the Crown than what the Crown lays out for their expenses.
