There are professions that require mask wearing for hours at a time every day and this has never been a problem before.

No.

Yes.

There was a reason why if you wanted to require your employees to wear a mask you had to, by OSHA regulation, get them a medical check up first.

And every place someone wore a mask they either took it off or pulled it down on a regular basis. That would be because they were not getting enough oxygen.

I think the biggest negative impact of mask-wearing was societal.

Children are very tuned in to facial expressions for context and non-verbal communication, important in learning.

What has been done is criminal.

I’m a big person, 5’18” (6’6” for those in Rio Linda). When this mask nonsense started I said HELL NO! I’m not doing that. And didn’t go where it was required.

The 711 by me that I’ve been frequenting for >10ys, refused me beer once during the scamdemic. The employees stood there with their hands behind their backs, because I was maskless. They lost a customer. I used to buy all my gas and beer there. Not anymore.

Quite a few people around the country were arrested for not wearing a mask, usually charged with trespass.

I’m inclined to accept the results of this study based upon personal experience. During the very brief periods I wore a mask in the early stages of the plandemic, it was very difficult to speak with others. I found myself gasping for breath as I was talking. This was the effect of less oxygen and more CO2 intake than normal. I noticed this same effect in others. I could hear them out of breath as they were speaking. So yeah, I think this study rings true, at least based upon anecdotal evidence.

Most of the people who wore them - and often even still wear them - could ill-afford to lose even one IQ point.

Well, I am for people determining what their own personal risk assessment is. When they start imposing stuff onto others thats where the line is crossed. Since these are strangers to me, its possible they are higher risk candidates due to other health issues I don’t know about. My gut says probably not, but regardless, its their decision. They are free to be wacky woo. They are not free to demand I also be wacky woo.

And, I re-iterate:

I understand your irritation, but look at it this way:
those 711 employees who refused to serve you w/o a Mask were likely acting that way because their Boss told them to.
They were afraid of losing their jobs.

If one said ‘Okay, Dude, go ahead and buy your Big Gulp.’, the other two would likely have run to the Boss and tattled for Brownie Points.
The paranoia, the siege mentally was very strong back then, especially in retail outlets. It was even worse in Canada.

Rediscovery of Low-Oxygen Mask Injury

Now thousands of studies show what my research team (epidemiologist, naturopathic physician, microbiologist) showed in 2020-2021 on the hazards of mask-wearing, and were censored for doing so. - Dr. Colleen Huber

....the harm caused by masks....

***********************************************************

My GP doc one day was looking down at his Ipad in his lap (wearing a mask; he was a big supporter!) and for an instant I wondered......”how the
hell does a smart guy like him buy into this BULLSHIT?”

Our medical “community” FAILED us all. The only question is was their participation in this all time FRAUD intentional or was it absolute ignorance. Either one doesn’t bode well for the rest of us.

All this mask stuff was garbage from day one.

Masks work, in specific situations, but as used during Covid they were essentially political theatrics.

Our health care system is defined by bureaucrats and politicians.

That’s why you end up being forced to do something which makes absolutely no sense and even poses a risk in your case.

The care you get is no longer a decision between you and your doctor.

It is no longer based on the customer who is paying for it, who has to deal with the consequences, and the health care professional and his advise regarding your specific situation.

When it comes to advertising health care, we are #1, no question about it. No one spends more on advertising, makes greater claims of having solved all the worlds ills, than the health care system in the US.

But in reality, health care in America is the WORST of both worlds and in actual results lags behind even some of the Euro zone socialized health care systems in some aspects.

What is the “worst of both worlds?”

***Our politicians and government bureaucrats have managed to devise a health care system which combines the worst attributes of both a private/capitalist model and a social/government run health care system.***

Let me explain: you have monopolies and a private pharma industry gouging people, private hospitals that know how to play the game of billing you 7 different ways for the same thing, and at the same time, you have a CDC, NIH, FDA and DEA that are more or less defining what your “standard of care is.” You have run away costs (the highest in the world) combined with government which more or less tells folks what they get (managed care). Insurance companies are also banking big, and they have influence over what the standard of care by government is, but they then hide behind government using it as a shield in order to manage costs. You have all the stupidity (politics) and inefficiency of government, while also having folks gouging you for your health care at the same time. And so you get a diabetic in the US paying ~300% of what a diabetic pays for the same insulin in Brazil.

For example, if you belong to a class of people who is extra special today, say the LGBTQIA community, well of course they can even get their hormones, sex change surgeries, as well as HIV preventing drugs or AIDS treatments paid for through insurance or government grants. Because every politician is stumbling over the other to try to show what they did for some homosexual today. Ever since Obama, a politician has decided that gender dysphoria is a real disease worthy of everyone paying for it. Specific example (zooming in):

https://www.hiv.gov/federal-response/ending-the-hiv-epidemic/prep-program/ The federal government will pay for PrEP, at $1,750 per person per month, to prevent the spread of HIV. Of course a condom would also achieve the same results, and sexual contact is all together not required, and specifically high risk sexual contact should possibly be discouraged. But not in the US. In the US the diabetic, cancer, heart and kidney disease ailing patient does not get a special government grant to swoop in an pay for it all, because they’re not extra special. Few if any health insurances will pay for a woman getting estrogen shots if they have very low levels when they get older. Government uses a single BS study from 20 year ago to justify denying this care and all the insurance companies are on board with that. But if your a man and want to get estrogen, all insurances and even the federal government will pay!

-—When politicians are involved and manage your health care as is the case today, things get distorted.

-—But at the same time, we are confronted with some of the highest costs because you have a health care system with monopolies, at times even rules intended to intentionally limit competition (insurance availability across state lines in the past) and many are gouging the patient, charging whatever they can get away with.
