Nothing more than virtue signaling by Foghorn Leghorn Henry McMaster, our esteemed governor. At least he can say he made an effort.

House Republicans on Thursday passed legislation to crack down on the border, including finishing former President Trump’s border wall and to restrict access to asylum.

Like that will pass the senate or biden’s veto.

I could see the gubmint flying them to military bases, and distributing them from there. As that’s something the state government (in theory at least), can’t stop.

Joint commercial/military airports such as Charleston and air national guard/reserve units at the others. Oh, and don't forget the TSA. Nothing necessarily nefarious, it is just amazing how wide spread the FedGov® presence is.
