Dems GOTV. The GOP candidate was establishment, not inspiring and did not hit the Dem hard. These big new apartment buildings sprouting like mushrooms around town are no doubt filled with Democrats. It’s likely Duval is sliding toward permanent Democrat rule.

The Dem who won is from an old time Jacksonville Democrat family, too. That had to help swing some dim bulbs here way.

Trump expects to win the nomination without working for it. Insults, name-calling, boasting—it’s all such a bore. Trump needs new material. His rallies are the same old same old. He’s shopworn, over the hill, and too old. And he’s beginning to sound scared. His sycophants like Steve Bannon are insisting it’s all over—why have debates, DeSantis should just quit, they say. They talk like the voting has already occurred.

I really resent that. And Trumps’ tactics are really turning me off. I predict Trump fatigue is setting in and the polls are only reflecting that people feel sorry about Trump’s legal troubles and want to show their disgust. He’s like an old has-been who doesn’t know when to leave the stage. This will be the high point of his support. It will be downhill from here.

The same thing that’s happening in Jacksonville is happening everywhere in Florida and Florida has never been so Red, but you can’t run a campaign like the Republicans ran and hope to win, you need a good candidate and a unifying message and the entire party working together

The good news for Duval county (that most here are too ignorant understand) is the city council is a Republican super majority......which means this little news reader now mayor will not be able to just implement all here social engineering experiments.

I suspect she is WAY over her head and when it comes time to actually DO the job that will become abundantly apparent.

Appreciate your comments.

It’s really too bad he doesn’t realize what actually acting presidential would do for him.

As you said, the brash obnoxious loose cannon shtick is worn out.
