Now you go and break our hearts by saying we are not normal.
Does this mean you will be moving out on us?
/end sarcasm for the sarcasm challenged.
I do not believe we have any such choice available to us.
I support Trump. But I will vote DeSantis if Trump is taken out of the picture by one means or another. But it is all for sentimental reasons. I do not believe the merits of either candidate will matter.
I expect that neither DeSantis nor Trump can win the "election" in 2024. Nothing has been done to limit the decisive vote fraud accomplished by the Democrats in 2020 or 2022. They will do it again. with even less effort to conceal the fraud. And what are we going to do about it? Nothing.
We are going to get whatever replacement team is selected by the real owners of the Democrat party. Things will go kinetic at some time after that. There just won't be enough loot available from a crashed economy to pay off all the Democrat supporters.
It is the Leftists who will start shooting each other when they don't get their "fair share" of the promised swag. Somehow, they will blame all of that on the Republicans. And most people will pretend to believe that for quite a while.
"Interesting times..."
Jonah Goldberg is a RINO. We’ve moved on from him and his ilk.
This Joanie kid is such a pussy.
+1
Because “the Party” sucks just like Jonah!
That’s hilarious. I want to move past Jonah.
How revealing; NOT conservative Jonah Goldberg asserts that GOP ‘Closet Normals on the Hill’ Want to Move Beyond Trump.
It’s all those damn real conservative Americans in the way.

‘...there’s always something going on with this guy,...”
I mean the Media always says
What a dumb@$$ position.
Longtime conservative columnist tells why he’s a ‘Never Trumper’
Conservative writer Jonah Goldberg calls himself a “Never Trumper.”

Pathetic bastards but not surprised by their cowardice. Hey Kevin! Where’s the rest of the J6 footage that you promised to release?
These people learned nothing from why Trump got the nomination in 2016. No one wants their ideas of welfare for billionaires and gutting Social Security.
Trump’s going to take their lunch and eat it, just like last time.
Well, if these people had gotten on board and helped get him re-elected, that is exactly what would be happening.
Ironic, isn’t it?
“Conservative” syndicated columnist Jonah Goldberg should change his name to Turdberg since everything he touches turns to $hit.
He single handedly destroyed National Review.
Here is my response to Ms Goldberg: https://www.webmd.com/digestive-disorders/what-to-know-about-floating-stools
On seeing the thread, I shrugged off the article as another self-pitying plea for relevancy from an irrelevant fool. Looking back at it, though, I’m amazed at the arrogance: amidst the general normalization of so many social and political pathologies, this dude thinks that the “normal closet” (what a bizarre term, btw) consists solely of what is not Trump?
He gladly surrendered to Obambi, Hitlery and Biteme, then considers himself the sole occupier of “normal.”
He’s a mama’s boy who would be flipping burgers if his mother didn’t get him a job.
“Nothing has been done to eliminate the ... fraud”
Trump wants to use the dubious measures used by the Deomcrats in the last election.
“The Leftists will start shooting each other ...”
That’s getting far ahead in the game, but I think a lot of voters are swayed toward who promises them the most ‘swag’.
“I will no longer compromise my values and vote for someone who pretends to be Conservative”
I say you must vote. You might get to vote for Trump, and let’s not assume DeSantis is owned by the deep state.
I think voters this time around are going to be hugely fed up with the Biden team and will be ready to hold their nose and vote for, who knows, Trump?
“Before you talk about the general election, DeSantis has to win the nomination. As of today he’s losing to Trump by 72.8%”
I want to see DeSantis and Vivek Ramaswamy in the debates along with Trump.
OK by me.
Those dubious measures win elections.
I am referring to ballot harvesting, which I consider a "dubious measure". It does not matter if I detest such procedures. They work. And they are legal in the battleground States. We use them or we lose.
Concerning the last-minute registration of illegal aliens, persons who are not residents of the area, and imaginary persons, I do not suppose we can compete with the Democrats using these methods. And stuffing boxes with forged ballots is right out.
We do need to prepare countermeasures that will prevent such fraudulent ballots from ever being counted. Effective countermeasures will not necessarily be legal methods either.
If the Democrats continue to win using these methods, then the elections become merely a game show to distract the masses, and our political conflicts will be settled by other means. Historically, that means "despotism tempered by assassination".
See the last ten years of Chicago politics for some worked examples.
