How would it work in Kalifornia? Will Governor Hair Gel be able to appoint a replacement or would there be a special election? IIRC it varied from state to state. For example: in Massachusetts it used to be a Governor’s appointment but then it was changed to special election (Scott Brown replaced the Senior Senator from Chappaquiddick).

A few years ago the wife and I were in Washington, DC at Arlington Cemetery and I was going to pee on Ted Kennedy’s grave, but the line was too long.
