You have it backwards. We leveraged timing with the Sochi Olympics and threw the putsch precisely during the Olympics. We also used it to rub Russia’s nose in homosexuality.

That is why they secured Crimea when they did. The Ukes and DC intended Sevastopol to be a NATO navy base. And it probably saved Crimean citizens from the fate of those poor souls in Odessa at the hands of Uke militias.

More of your leftist garbage from Business Insider via Yahoo. All support for Biden’ s war all the time.

The only articles you Zeeper trolls whine about are from conservative sources.

The two were rated very high by the USAF instructors who had 1500-2200 hours in F-16s.

Keep in mind that the UA pilots are experienced combat pilots, who were very good at low level flying and rated highly.

“The Ukes and DC intended Sevastopol to be a NATO navy base.”

So what if they did? It is Ukrainian territory and if the Ukies want to use it for NATO then that’s their business.

Well even their earlier models are sufficient to take out any aircraft. Russia may make crappy tanks, but their air and missile defense systems have always been top notch.

European F16 operators have a bunch of surplus F16s (I have heard of @60 potentially available), as they have been replacing them with F35s.

>>Four experienced US air force instructors assessed the Ukrainian pilots and determined the pilots could perform several “relatively technical” maneuvers, including landing after losing an engine and withstanding mock attacks, Yahoo News reported, citing the assessment.
>>

FOR GOD’S SAKE, STOP THIS INSANITY.

The F-16 is a single engine aircraft.

We should give back the nuclear warheads which were stolen from Ukraine when they naively respected the Budapest Memorandum in 1994. As a result, Russia (which raped the Budapest Memorandum) took the nuclear warheads and that permitted them to attack Ukraine last year (in 2014 by invading Crimea).

If Ukraine had kept its WMD’s there would have been no war, evidently!

Those who are against Ukraine having nukes in their arsenal are no less than warmongering pro-WWIII activists.

This is why the Ukrainian Soviet-era S300 air defense system has been so effective at keeping the Russian Airforce out of Ukrainian airspace.

This has proven to be a critical point in this war. Otherwise the Russians would have won this long ago.

So true you don’t just jump from a MIG29 to an F16. I think its about a 6-12 training period.

I think they are a mix of three things.
Geezers stuck in the 1970s and 80s miss the old cold war and get to feel important again.

People with an Eastern Uke and Pole family or friend ties. Their entire thing is revenge against the USSR and they will bankrupt or even get America in to a war for their euro feud.

US Government intel and DOD troll accounts, and ethnic Uke online troll operations (both have been widely reported on)

And probably very small, but I would add, there is a small Catholic vs Orthodox bunch too.

The bottom line, none of them have what is best for America up front in their mind. They all have some eastern Euro agenda, money, globalism, or working out old demons. It’s tragic.

"...Four experienced US air force instructors assessed the Ukrainian pilots and determined the pilots could perform several "relatively technical" maneuvers, including landing after losing an engine and withstanding mock attacks..."

Well, this is good. Because those things are really important up there in the air when you face an enemy who has hostile intent, is intent on destroying you, and is more familiar with their aircraft and weapons systems.

But I guess as long as those two pilots each have "The Ghost of Kiev" as their wingman, they will be safe.

As long as there is a "Ghost of Kiev" to protect each inexperienced pilot.

It was a Russian navy base since the 1783. They had it before we had Ohio. And besides, it wasn’t theirs. When you throw a coup, you only get what you can take by force. You don’t automatically inherit everything the old nation had. If a mob of BLM seized DC by force, do you think everyone in Wyoming is obliged to recognize them? If a man murders another man, does he now own his pickup and get to bed down the victims wife?

The rest of the country has the same right the people who rioted in Kiev had when they grabbed the seat of government.

As a lapsed Catholic myself I’ve never heard Catholics being against Orthodox, what’s that suppose to be about?

“It was a Russian navy base since the 1783.”

Oh? So now you’re going to claim that Imperial Russia, the Soviet Union, and the Russian Federation are all analogous just as I’ve been saying?

Thanks.

“The Ukes and DC intended Sevastopol to be a NATO navy base.”

“So what if they did?“

Being completely dismissive of the Russian point of view has resulted in war. You don’t have to like the Russians or agree with them but telling ANYONE to eat shit and like it is a great way to get into trouble. We didn’t used to do this with the Russians. Why this has changed I don’t know. We used to care about what might “set them off” and avoid going that far. Yeah they’re a third world country with nukes as the saying goes but why we’d want to piss them off to the point that they roll the war machine I can’t figure out. What has changed?
