Trump is a member of the donor class - he's a billionaire. DeSantis doesn't have Trump's money so of course he's going to need to court donors.

Well, can you blame him?
He knows that the ‘grassroots’ no longer has anything to do with getting elected. Why bother consorting with peasants if you want to get elected? Go to the people who actually control elections.

The plan is to have “virtual” rallies on Twitter.
If voters don’t have to show up to vote, why should supporters have to show up to a rally?
I have NO doubt that Ron can have more bots show up to a virtual Twitter rally than Trump can have real people show up to one of his rallies.
And I’m sure than are a lot of Ronbots here on FR more than willing to join the virtual crowd manufactured on Twitter.
