President Trump just called Ron DeSantis a globalist. He’s 100% right. Here’s a long thread with everything i know so far to validate his point.

Background on some of DeSantis's past associates, votes, beliefs, etc. His record in these areas will come under increased scrutiny now that he's announced his candidacy.

As they should.

This author has a very short memory and paid zero attention to some of the biggest news stories during Trump’s tenure as President. Knows nothing about politics and news events but has strong opinions about the same.

Be careful what you wish for, you might just get it. DeSantis allowed long-time election fraudster Brenda Snipes (Democrat Broward County, Florida Election Supervisor), to simply resign, giving her back her pension/benefits after Rick Scott fired her. She initially resigned, but then withdrew it, took it to court, and the Judge turned the matter over to the new Gov. DeSantis to be the final arbiter in the matter. He basically stabbed Scott in the back on that one. He let her resubmit her resignation, and let her walk away with her pension intact. Must be Ronny had a problem being tough on a black criminal.

"Trump dodged. There’s that."

Trump didn't have to dodge. He had such a high draft number, it wouldn't have mattered if he'd gotten a college deferment or not. They were never going to reach him.

Maybe you can graduate from Yale and not be globalist.

I just don’t know of any examples.

Billy Buckley was a globalist.

He took Jimmah Carter’s side when Carter gave away the Panama Canal.

A REAL CONSERVATIVE and a REAL NATIONALIST named Phyllis Schafly went on his TV show and gave him a spanking for doing so.

The video might be on You Tube.

Phyllis was one of the first “conservatives” to get on the Trump train back in 2015.

She took some heat from the Cruzbots, but she was a tough old bird.

Bill Clinton was of course from Yale.

Clinton gave props to Carroll Quigley who may or may not have “converted” from globalism before he died, but Quigley’s book Hope and Tragedy is as detailed of history of globalism as one can find.

And course Yale boy Georges named Bush were globalists along with Frenchy Kerry.

And of course no bigger globalist there may have been no bigger globalis than Skull & Boner McGeorge Bundy who was the real architect of the Vietnam War not McNamara.

Careful, you’ll be creaming your jeans soon defending Ronny.

Governor Desantis deployed with the Seals and was awarded a Bronze Star with valor.

It may not be all that good of an idea for President Trump to belittle the service of American veterans.

DeSantis served, Trump dodged. There’s that.

You really like hanging out there on the cutting edge, don't ya? Trump has been CIC. DeSantis still wants to be.

"DeSantis was a lawyer who happened to be in the military. Big whoop.

Can you say Lindsey Graham? Another big whoopsie-daisy.

The sexual jokes are a new one from the Trumpsters, I haven’t gotten that insult before.

Ron may not be a globalist instinctively, but he sure has surrounded himself with advisors who fit that description.

Wait until 2028, Ron. And, get rid of the neo-cons pulling your strings.

Some are becoming more like the Left around here every single day.

You people really should stop doing that. Oh wait...you didn't mean yourself, did you?

"I am more than a little curious about the circumstances behind a JAG lawyer like DeSantis being awarded a Bronze Star in Iraq."

I hadn't known he got a Bronze Star. My brother was an Army infantry grunt in Vietnam '66-'67, was fired on more times by his fellow soldiers than the enemy, and he got the basic medals for the war and his service there.

We know Kerry got his medals and Purple Hearts because he wrote the after-action reports, so he could recommend himself for them. It would be interesting to know how RDS squeezed a Bronze Star out.

Just did a search and he got the Bronze Star for being a lawyer/prosecutor in a War Zone. Just as we suspected, it was for bullshit.

"It was during this deployment that DeSantis earned his Bronze Star for his “meritorious service and dedication to duty.” His courageous efforts helped ensure the freedom of those serving abroad, while protecting the rights of those who had been accused of crimes within the military justice system."

How did DeSantis Get a Bronze Star?"

I threw-up a little in my throat posting this.

"Yet another reason to keep DeSantis as Governor, where he excels."

At least there he has more than a 2-1 Republican majority in the Florida Legislature. No telling how he'd deal with a Democrat-controlled Congress or split Congress. He's untested in those waters.

“Some are becoming more like the Left around here every single day.”

I do feel some have become more loyal to their candidate than the country. I see articles day after day with made up horsecrap and no desire to hear facts.

I sympathize with Trump and all the crap he has had to put up with but Governor DeSantis has done some great things and is the wrong target.

Trump was put in a vise by McConnell and others in the swamp - there was only so much he could do.

What will be different the second time around? How will he avoid being put in McConnell's vice?

Some truth to this

Ron is more uniparty on foreign policy than Trump

He tested it on Ukraine and quickly backtracked

"I would think the nonstop congressional witch hunts against Trump would have found all of that information you are seeking."

Not to mention the FBI, the rest of the Alphabet agencies, and all the Democrat Attorney Generals in Democrat-run States. It's gotten to the point where they have to fabricate investigations, and go after him for violations of laws that doesn't exist in order to get Trump.

That’s true of everyone who took a deferment

However DeSantis did have a slot that had zero chance of combat

Everyone can’t be infantry or a recon ranger admittedly
