Did Donald Trump actually say anything other than “congratulations”? I could not find any reference to other words.
yes i read it as a trap- laden w/sarcasm. knowing how DJT feels about WHO, it seemed pretty clear to me that it was a jab at NoKo and WHO—like they deserved each other, a perfect match-up. since it didn’t get a lot of play, i think many weren’t sure how he meant it.
You can tell this is the same RNC Big Club plan as it was in 2016. The Big Club litmus test will have a Bush! “axis of evil” starting point.
On the US defense front, Republican voters care way more about communist China, Taiwan and funding a forever war against Russia in Ukraine.

Trump know Jung un because he’s had meaningfully discussions. He knows what drives him and understands his goals. Getting some recognition on the world stage may be one of them in which case he has moved the ball for his country. A great deal of trust has been build up with Trump. So that is how you rationalize your defense of this? Kamala Harris is probably more criticized on the whole than Trump, but that doesn’t mean she deserves blind support, just because she’s criticized so much, does it?

The joke is that DeSantis, Haley, and Pence all praised President Trump when he was in office. Haley did so in her book in 2019, after she'd already left the Administration. Then they come out of the cupboard because they're running for the highest office in the land, and need to get the most media attention they can. It won't be long before they start attacking each other. They're going to have to, if they want to remain standing. It should be interesting watching the actions of these interlopers over the next year. I doubt most, if any of them will still be in the race by then.
