15 months ago I moved from the “big city” to a 100-year-old house in a rural part of TN, and my big ol’ back yard is just begging for a good, old-fashioned clothes line. I can imagine the clothes would come out smelling quite fresh.
New Dishwashers have sucked for decades.
As long as congress does not get to make the rules then they do not have to answer to the consequences. It is totally unconstitutional for them to be able to delegate their authority to the executive branch. But my words fall on deaf ears.

Dry cleaners?
Elites don't use mere washing machines - they 'drop off the clothes at the cleaners... And dry cleaners use so much energy and so many toxic (to the Earf') chemicals that well - no more 'dropping off the clothe for 'elti4es'...

You will. I've been doing that for years.
However, messing with the efficiency of things like washers and dishwashers means people are either going to do more laundry more often or start handwashing dishes again, both of which use more water and heat for hot water than the current appliances.
And like the water saver toilets that don't flush as well, people will then flush twice or three times to get the job done.
Same with the automatic paper towel dispensers. Just wave your hand twice to get enough paper towels to dry your hands.
There's always a way around their attempts at forced compliance to their regulations.
They are the consummate control freaks. They simply cannot stand the though that someone might be doing something that they do not like or approve of.
They do. But go with an Amish clothes line, one that has a pulley and uses coated aircraft cable. It doesn't stretch or break easily, like rope.
And shop around. You can get much better prices than at Lehman's.

We just bought a new energy efficient dryer. It doesn’t dry nearly as well as our old Kenmore did.
Utopians lack the ability to use logic and reason on cause and effect issues it’s always about the good feeling.
Feelings are like a drug to them they can’t go without it.
Just like the low flow toilets saved water by requiring many much more water to flush the waste properly and keep sewer pipes clean. Imagine. Idiots like AOC are SoOoO smart they know how to magically produce everything required for their green world order.
Plus you wind up flushing six times for each poop.
