ALREADY HAPPENING
Friend moved about 7 years ago & bought NEW washer & dryer.
Bought front loading washer-—USES LESS WATER !!!
NOW MUST wash every load at least 2 times because clothes are not clean..
I quit asking her how big her water bill was-—since she lives in town & gets those details in her bill.
IF she had bought a TOP load machine, she could at least ADD a bucket or 2 of water.
Phosphate also removed from laundry soaps.
I have always noticed a sour smell on the clothing of people who are using the high efficiency washers. There isn’t enough water and soap to wash the clothes. They stink.

I had a front loader, top of the line Maytag in fact, that did not drain out all the water.
So there was ‘sour’ water left in there, besides the fact that it did not wash very well.
Sold it. After just a few months.
A must read article to save and repeat...
