I know it was once a beautiful city (I visited a few times starting in the 1990s) and I’m supposed to mourn the loss of it but......I’m sorry. I feel nothing but pure schadenfreude at San Fransicko’s destruction. Starting in the 1960s it became the epicenter of drug addled bums and rich Commies spreading their mind virus far and wide. They would always crow and crow about how beautiful San Francisco was and gosh if only every place could be like them.
Well....how’s that working out for ya?

It looks like San Fran is in a death spiral and will follow the path of Detroit.
These people are either fools or deliberately applying evil. What did they think was going to happen? Downtown has been a zombie apocalypse for years and they’re just encourage more and more drug use. This was always going to translate into more and more crime.
Now everyone is leaving, along with the tax base.

I can remember many visits to SF: staying at the lovely old Huntington Hotel in its hey-day, strolling to the Top Of The Mark for cocktails,then strolling down to Chinatown for dinner. It’s heartbreaking, really.

The United Nations says people have the right to clean housing. So “afford” is pretty much irrelevant.
