Your main concern is your retirement acccount. Fair enough.
I don't understand why you blame Governor DeSantis for a deterioration of your retirement account. Did he pass a law to cut it?
More likely you have been damaged - like all of us - by profligate spending in Washington D.C. Democrats and Republicans in D.C. have printed trillions of dollars and pumped it into the economy.
Inflation alone has probably robbed your retirement account of 25 percent of its purchasing power since 2020. Forget 6 or 8 percent; whatever the deep state claims inflation to be.
When the prices at dollar tree go from $1.00 to $1.25 that is not eight percent.
And that simply is not the fault of Ron DeSantis.
But if you want to say Governor DeSantis is responsible for congressional spending, I can't stop you.
I'm happy to see someone beside me that has COMMON SENSE. You're "right as rain."
DeSantis.. trying to appeal to voters who think "name changes" are important and a REASON to VOTE for someone! I wonder what "mental giant" of an adviser told him to say that?
In the article the author wrote about the law's provisions: “For renters, this can be a great thing, or a terrible thing. It all depends on how you look at it.”
I guess you got hung up on the gratuitous use of the words “junk fees” by author Ossiana Tepfenhart.
Yes, the same Ossiana Tepfehhart that wrote the article entitled: “If you're a female and voted GOP don't complain about abortion.”
She is not the unbiased reporter you think she is.
Not because of global warming; because there are more homes per square mile to be damaged by a hurricane. Florida's population is increasing because people want to move there.
If Governor DeSantis’ policies continue to be attractive to people, Florida may have to have armed guards at the border to turn wealthy billionaires and others away.
In the video you posted, the aerial views showed homes near the water. A lot of people like living near the water. For some reason hurricane winds are higher near the coast than inland.
Property insurance rates are what they are. If you have data showing rates can be lowered and still have plenty of money to cover a Cat 5 direct hit, or two, share that info please. I know a Florida Cracker who thinks the insurance on his 10-foot wide house trailer is way too high.
Thank you so much. ☺
“I wonder what ‘mental giant’ of an adviser told him to say that?”
Probably the same doofus who told him to change his stance on Ukraine after 24 hours when it was the same as Trump’s.

Trump is the only candidate that has proven he can make us a nation of wealth and prosperity. My point is RDS hasnt done jack for us seniors. Nothing, nada.Disney doesn’t cut it. Don’t care about teachers, schools, woke stuff. RDS hasn’t even discussed monetary policies other than cuts to ss and Medicare. He has been blessed with 24 continuous years of preceding Republican governors and a very friendly legislature. He would not inherit this if he is the candidate /winner in 24. Can he handle this? Don’t know but I do know who can. I’m not a gambler. His time will come, not yet though. Hopefully Trump can get in in 24 and cut a path and RDS can just take over in 28. Put the country on autopilot. Good discussion with you my friend.
Hi.
My DD Form 214 doesn’t have fort Liberty or ft. Cavasos on it.
Therefore it’s invalid.
Damn, 6 years of service to my country gone in a flash.
