“Former national security adviser John Bolton said the federal charges brought against former President Trump last week are “devastating,” adding that the indictment should result in the end of his Trump’s political career.”

That’s why he still leads the Republican contenders by 30+ points. My biggest concern is the Deep State, both Democrats and Republican members, might get desperate enough to get a loser like Audrey Elizabeth Hale to assassinate him and then blame it on MAGA Republicans.

If he is part of the conspiracy that planted these documents on Trump it will be devastating to himself. He will be looking at life in Leavenworth.

John Bolton is the penultimate Deep Stater. I have grown to detest him.

I still don't fully grasp if Trump employed Bolton because he actually liked him, he was forced to by McConnell and RINOs in the Senate, or if Bolton hid his deep-state and "never-Trumper" preferences well.

Its both Trump's strength, and weakness, that he doesn't do "ideological litmus tests" on people.

“John Bolton is the penultimate Deep Stater. I have grown to detest him.”

Bolton is just vocalizing what they’ve all been wet-dreaming about. What’s devastating is the lengths and depths to which the globalist leftist ghouls will go to get and retain power.

When I viewed Terrorism as the major problem, I appreciated that he was the only one who said so aloud and in unequivocal terms.

What I didn’t know was that was all he had, and it appears that his assessment of Islamic terrorism was rooted in something else...not the threat of Islam or Terrorism itself, but control.

I view our own government as more of a threat now than any external terrorism.

And that is serious, because if they (the Deep State) know that too (and I don’t doubt that they do) then it can’t be long until there is a terrible terrorist attack on this country.

Because the external threat will always have to be greater than the internal one.

Or the one that is supposed to protect you from threats.

LOL, that is on me. I used what I thought was the right word, and it was completely the wrong one!

If he is second, then there is an entire train of people not far ahead of him tied for first...

That is true, because if he could have “spilled”, he darn well would have.

Without question, it is the greatest accomplishment of his post-Presidency.

It’s not about Trump.

It’s about protecting the franchise. Political debate in the US is only allowed to be about things that cause Americans to be furious with each other (instead of the people in charge), while all important issues THAT ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE STATE are off the table, either because the leaders of both parties agree (usually) or because it would be “divisive” (division is the purpose of politics, so what we have is actually something else).

Notice, for example, the fact that most Republican voters want the Southern border closed and for the Russians and Ukrainians to slug it out without bothering us. Isn’t it odd that NO CANDIDATE is not 100% opposed to the Republican voters he supposedly needs?
