This woman makes no sense.
That is also my first thought.
Second thought is, it might be the real thing, but then, how could it end with, seemingly, no bloodshed?
Third, or rather last, thought is that Western intelligence agencies had something to do with it.
Yevgeniy Prigozhin is no friend of the West.
Precisely. And now another $6 Billion plus has been stolen from US.
Ideally, Russia should pay for 100% of rebuilding Ukraine, which, last numbers I saw were circa $half a trillion, and that was before the dam collapsed.
It's getting pricey.
Realistically, getting Russia to pay even half seems unlikely.
An EU / NATO WWII Marshall-style plan should be roughly 2/3 EU and 1/3 US, but a lot depends on the politics and exactly how Russia's "special military operation" ends.
How is this supposed to be smart of our intelligence service? Mid June was just a few days ago, not like they knew in April or early May. I could have told them same thing a few days ago had I just been watching tiktok Russia from my basement
It could not be more obvious that the CIA opened up this guy offshore accounts to bring him into the Zelensky fold. This “Russian Civil War” is just another reckless escalation on the way to a DC started WWIII. Assuming Putin and Priggy don’t kiss and make up, will Priggy become the West’s latest George Floyd?
Bravado....

That meme says it all to my mind.
Cute mew, too.
Given what we’ve seen on Biden, they probably did tell him, but he was concentrating on his pudding cup, and promptly forgot.
RUSSIAN REFLEXIVE CONTROL
pdf file
Abstract
Russia is increasingly applying methods of reflexive control (RC) to influence political decisionmaking through election manipulation as well as undermining the trust of citizens in political institutions and political systems of targeted countries. Russia is employing RC not only domestically and in neighboring countries such as Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland but also more and more in NATO countries such as the US, Germany, France, Great Britain, and Canada. For the CAF to be able to develop effective countermeasures, it is essential to achieve a deeper understanding of RC as it was used traditionally during the Cold War and particularly how it has been further developed to be used in current Russian operations. This report discusses the concept of Russian reflexive control, how it has evolved into its current iteration, the mechanics of how it works, and how to identify possible countermeasures to RC.
This RMCC research report addresses the following research questions:
1. What is Russian reflexive control?
2. In what instances has RC been successfully applied?
3. What were the underpinning mechanisms by which it worked?
4. What are possible countermeasures to RC?
5. What are possible applications of RC mechanisms by the CAF?
The paper concludes that reflexive control in its current form implies a compound program of targeted decision-making through multiple vectors, accounting for not only the adversary’s logical processing of information, but also emotional, psychological and cultural frameworks within which decisions are made, over a long time-frame. The complexity of the concept offers avenues to counter reflexive control operations. It appears to be a fragile operation that is fairly easy to counter, once identified, if target audiences are made aware of the concept and how it works. In addition to moral and legal concerns, the high complexity and fragility of RC operations, along with fairly effective countermeasures to RC, suggest the CAF should not apply RC mechanisms in operations.

RUSSIAN REFLEXIVE CONTROL = PERCEPTION MANAGEMENT
I bet they did more than plan it.
Events have proven this and other speculation lacking.
the most comprehensive take I have seen on this is simplicius’ write-up yesterday. his third? possibility (Final one in his article) is that this was a long-term setup intended to be timed during Ukr. breakthrough(s) on the front.
thus the pattern of ‘erratic’ claims and behavior going back months.
why it was activated now without any of the supportive circumstances is another matter.

kadryov made some comments yesterday to the effect that the guy was sore about some business deals and his daughter not getting some deal with st petersberg he wanted. who knows, but history is FULL of this sort of betrayal for what to the outsider seem like the most misplaced, trivial reasons.
The DC spin machine is in overdrive.
No, not everything is about the US. Certainly not the internal politics of Russia’s dictatorship.
The US is the world’s biggest debtor nation. The annual debt servicing costs are over $500 billion and increasing. By the end of the decade, the costs will exceed the DOD budget. We are expected to run a $2 trillion budget deficit this calendar year.
Medicare and SS represent an unfunded liability of over $100 trillion. The Medicare Trust fund (HI) is exhausted by 2028 and the SSTF by 2034. By law, this will trigger a reduction in benefits not to exceed the revenue collected, an estimated 20% reduction. In order to cover the shortfall, taxes will need to be raised and/or benefits reduced. Currently, 40% of Medicare costs come from the General Fund. With 10,000 Baby Boomers turning 65 every day until 2030, costs and the numbers of recipients will increase.
Where are the hundreds of billions of dollars required to rebuild going to come from? We have already borrowed almost $200 billion to keep the war in Ukraine going. Before the war, Ukraine was one of the most corrupt countries in the world and a poor country with a per capita GDP of $14,300, which is $100 more than Cuba’s.
We can’t afford this endless war. We have no obligation to defend Ukraine or to rebuild it. We are weakening ourselves.

Clean up - we can dream. What they want is for us to rebuild the whole country.
More than that. They want us to fight for them.
