We have a great pizza place nearby owned by a family that fled Brooklyn 20 years ago. They brought their recipes and their family. You can fill up on two slices. And they love living in SE Texas.

There are many, many, because anybody can make a pizza. Finding the good ones is the job.

When I walk out of the door of the office building, I can turn left, cross a street, and there’s a pizza place. I can also turn right, cross a street, and find another one. Then there’s one on the next block. Turn right at the next corner, there’s another one down the block. Turn left and there are all the ones on 6th Avenue. I’m not kidding.

LOL!! My (Irish) mother did occasionally make those awful English muffin "pizzas" when I was really young. Fortunately REAL pizza restaurants sprung up in my old neighborhood years later, so the English muffin pizzas were retired. LOL

That's awesome! It's not always easy to find decent pizza outside of the northeast (and a few other places in the US).
