Pretty much summed it up the way it went down.

Recall Pelosi made sure he couldn’t even get a lousy $3B to finish the Wall.

Now they claim double that as an accounting error so they can pour more gas on the fire in Eastern Europe.

It’s called the veto pen. As enabled under that quaint old U.S. Constitution.

Next time around, actually use that veto pen.

No, said a lot more than that. Get it right.

They said Trump would never run, and when he did they said he was not serious, then they said he’d never win the nomination, then he did, then they said he’d never be elected president, then he was!☺

With DeSantis, he’s proven negotiator

More jackassery. Trump was negotiating big league deals when DeSantos was in Jr. High. Trump created a planet wide empire and wrote Art of the Deal. DeSantos is a career lawyer politician. ☺

And how did Trump’s reputed hiring and negotiating skills work as president? Maybe a “career lawyer politician” will have better luck? He sure has in Florida.

Ron is losing momentum, not gaining. I don’t see him winning the nomination.

The Left broke the Seal, use the same tactics, burn them to the ground.

I agree.

Allowing these permanent democrat bureaucracies to grow and fester has been a huge mistake.

I think that “losing momentum” is fleeting and in the margin of error. Consider that everything is Trump 24x7, no one can compete in that environment. All they can do it be along for the ride at the moment. Trump with sink or swin on his own, sink if he keeps running his mouth. Anyway, all the rest can do is wait him out. My bigger personal concern is that we’ve all got to pull together in 2024 with whoever is on the ballot. This right now is too much like the destructive bickering between Cruz and Trump supporters in 2015. At a minimum we should play together nicely.

trump is good at distraction. this seems non workable but a good distraction while he goes and attacks the deep state and spending in a different way. if Trump was going to do this, he would not talk about it and then just spring it on congress.

Trump leading DeSantis by 40 points is not in the margin of error! DeSantis losing 3 points in polling is a sure sign that his momentum is stalling. If he has a shot, his numbers need to start moving up. But they’re not. I don’t hate DeSantis, and if he were the nominee, I’d vote for him. But so far his campaign has had the impact of a limp wonton.

Maybe a “career lawyer politician” will have better luck?

We've had a battalion of professional lawyer politicians for 40+ years and they've driven this country right into the ground. But DeSantos will be different? Not buying it. No sale

You want lawyers, not leaders.

I’m talking about candidates against Biden. That is fairly equal and within the general margin of error. Truthfully, and hopefully, anyone can beat Biden.

No, here is one of many reports discussing this: "Trump rejected a deal that included $25 billion in border wall funding, along with legal status and a possible path to citizenship for up to 1.8 million undocumented immigrants."

Not a new concept and one that President Trump used in his first term.

Interesting constitutional questions so Judiciary may be called to weigh in.

CNBC? LOL, did you read it?
Trump rejected a deal that included $25 billion in border wall funding, along with legal status and a possible path to citizenship for up to 1.8 million undocumented immigrants. …
If you were POTUS and did not reject that, you would be part of the problem, with all due respect.

As the chief executive simply fire about 90% of every and all agencies. 100% of the people in supervisory positions. Once the cancer is cut out regrow each agency from the ground up under new internal regulation.
