The main value of RFK, Jr. is a stink bomb thrown at the Democrats. He would be amusing as a Democratic candidate or even President, but he wouldn’t stop the destruction of America and Western civilization.
Trump campaigns on preserving the 2nd Amendment. There’s no way he’s picking a gun grabber like Kennedy, for VP.
There are very few things that could keep me from voting for Trump, but RFK jr. would be very high on that short list.

Tim Scott is someone Trump hasn’t been critical of and might help with moderates. They worked together in the past. We should keep an eye on his candidacy.

It often works out that way but it’s not really intentional. They need somebody from another wing if the party or another demographic, and somebody who won’t threaten or upstage them. The number of first rate people in politics is small, and if you exclude everybody who might be more competent, what do you have left?
