Well, now you ain’t gonna be president in 2024 or 2028. For the time being, I am becoming more and more of a Vivek fan, and unless something changes I predict his popularity will increase

desantis isn’t even picking up the pieces of important matters in FL, no way he would do so on a bigger scale.

the only reason desantis is running is to line his pockets .... and maybe pay off his student loans.

I don’t like the idea of one candidate or bust at this point. That’s what primaries are for.

Two terms’ worth of judicial appointments and two terms’ worth of cleaning house come to mind right off the bat.

Trump took 160 Million from George to build Trump Tower.

I haven't heard that one. Source please?

Hard to compare the two.
Trump took a loan against collateral commercial property within standard rates- he’s historically been a difficult borrower (since he avails himself of the full range of options) so can’t go with some of standbys you would normally get for a class 1 property (insurance, CMBS, etc)- he found the best deal from the lenders available. Its no different than taking a mortgage loan or banking or investing with a leftist org (JPMorgan Chase, Fannie Mae, Blackrock etc). I doubt there are many lenders in any CRE space that are not “leftist” in one way or another.

Meatball by contrast, has employed a Georgian/ Ukrainian tied Soros acolyte (and shes associated with the worst of the worst- Shakasvilli- who helped push both Georgia and Ukraine to conflict- and is fortunately imprisoned right now) as his campaign major domo, from prior to the stealth rollout. Murdoch gave him $1M+ (roughly quadrupling his net worth from 2021-2022) for a book no one reads to bribe him. Its standard political corruption/ payola- not even the subtlety of the Obama Netflix/ Spotify route, nor the complexity of the Clinton Foundation. Meatball is bought and paid for- hes revealed himself. Fortunately, he is also a paper tiger- his media performances are increasingly terrible (probably why he refuses media interaction, relying on stage managed Potemkin events)- he will never be the nominee or President. Unfortunately, he may profit off his treason, and make good money as a lobbyist.

He has 2 arguments: He is tougher on the Culture war than Trump. This argument has been blunted because President Trump is now all in on the Culture war. 2. Trump made too many bad picks, and he would be more competent.

Does that change the calculus, if Newsome is suddenly the young man to Trump?

“ About a thousand less indictments and charges and more to come for Trump.”

What has Trump done that’s illegal?

So much disinformation on FR these days, and misleading hit pieces.

I prefer to just listen to what the guy actually says:

“....

GLENN: I know. So the next thing is, that you have a long time association with Soros.

And I’m probably the number one anti-Soros guy in the world.

VIVEK: Can I give you a one-word answer to that question, Glenn?

I know you’re the number one anti-Soros guy. So I’m not saying false to you. I’m saying false to the long-time association with George Soros.

Lie. 100 percent lie.

Now, let me actually give you guys the facts. And again, this — these click bait conservatives online.

I don’t know if they feel threatened or whatever. And they need to make up stuff.

I was 25 years old. When I went to law school. I got a scholarship funded by Paul Soros, not George Soros. But Paul Soros.

That allowed me at the age of 25, to pay for law school, and I took it.

You want to know why? Because I’m smart.

Now, it’s hilarious to me, that the same people who bring that back up from when I was 25 years old, taking a scholarship, funded partially by somebody who is related to George Soros, don’t say a word about the fact, that, again, Donald Trump, who I love. Who I respect. I’m not criticizing him. Took 160-million-dollar loan from not Paul Soros, but George Soros himself.

I have no problem with this. You want to know why?

Because it’s business.

Donald Trump knows what he’s doing. I don’t think he’s corrupted by that.

I’m not criticizing him for it. He’s a friend. But I think it’s funny. And I think it’s revealing, that these same people will talk about a 25-year-old dude taking a scholarship to help him pay for law school from a relative of George Soros. Make a big deal out of that, without saying a peep about Donald Trump taking 165 million-dollar loan for George Soros, and I say that as a friend and somebody who respects Donald Trump.

Because I don’t think that that disqualifies him or taints him in any way, because he’s a man of integrity. And he’s doing business the way he knows how.

But I think when you’re in positions like I’ve been or Donald Trump has been, you get that. I think, you know, if you’re sitting online on Twitter, it can be a very different story...”

If anyone is actually interested in hearing Vivek’s opinions from the horse’s mouth, rather than just trashing him through insinuation.

There you go with your implied anti-Israel Antisemitism again. You love PT, well he was the most all in pro- Israel President in history. Your disl8ke of Israel is shining through.

His reasoning is pretty poor.

He picked 2024 as the election to lose.

I think you are absolutely right. To prove your point he waffled on Ukraine in the worst possible way at the worst possible moment. I don’t know if his political career is truly ruined but he shredded the strong upward trajectory he had. It’s a shame he was helping our side by being a daily shining example of what having a good Republican Governor can do for your state

As a Floridian, I’m not seeing any dereliction of duty by the governor, but I might’ve missed something. Perhaps you could supply some examples to back up your claims?
