Indiana Jones and the Dial of Deviance.
Rule of Thumb is that they need to gross $600 to $700 to just break even. The loss will be more like $500 Million.
As to the movie, I saw it today and I thought it was a good film, lots of action and the storyline was no worse than the very first film where Indiana goes to look for the Ark.
The first 20 minutes are pure gold. The de-aging software looked flawless and I was transported back 40 years to the first film. Harrison Ford was in unreal physical shape and pulled off this thing very well. I compare and contrast this to De Niro in “The Irishman” where that d-aging did not work well and he looked like an old man trying to do his scenes. Ford by comparison did extremely well and made it work.
The bad was that I didn’t like the female lead, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, she just wasn’t the right person for the role. Allison Doody from Indiana Jones 3 would have been the right kind of person for something like that.
I might have changed the plot line from using the Nazi’s as the enemy to the old Soviets instead, something connected to Stalin. That would have worked just as well.
Frankly I didn’t see much of anything that carried a Woke storyline or pushed anything. What you saw was it. I really enjoyed seeing Ford pull this off. They could have written in a storyline where the baton was passed but not to a woman.
The problems with this film boil down to a bloated budget that was not needed, probably a better director to pull this off and a much better marketing strategy, and staying more true to the Indiana Jones character. I predict that this film, like “Fast X” will be on the Streaming services very soon as a way to get more revenue.
Now on Wednesday Tom Cruise’s Mission 7 opens and by contrast I expect a big opening and it blowing all competition away. Perhaps Cruise should have Produced Indiana Jones 5, might have made all the difference.
Conservatives might go watch Clint Eastwood but Hollywood would rather die first.
“Yellowstone - what a POS that was.
“Couldn’t get past the first few episodes”
If you mean the Yellowstone with Kevin Costner, we agree. Saw three episodes, hoping it would grow on us; it didn’t.

Ha ha. I just saw one of his reviews. That is funny.
THE MESSAGE!!!
Indiana Jones and the insufferable wood pecker. She looks like a freaking woodpecker. That nose. Gawd awful.
I believe she was in a streaming show called “Fleabag,”in the first episode she has anal sex with some random hookup and wonders if his dick was small, or her anus is too stretched out.
A classy girl…
:)
I’m guessing loose bunghole.
He’s merciless and funny as hell.
Not me brother.
Well, Sean Connery sure.
Oh... My... Gawd.
I had to watch this.
However I was a bit disappointed. Not quite enough exciting action, and not enough impressiveness altogether.
Good enough, but not nearly his best. Ok though, just because of who he is.
