I am surprised that this is news. I think most Democrats are saying to themselves, “What are we gonna do about Joe? How do we sideline him and get someone that does not look so bad?”

There’s nothing secret about Biden not being on the ticket in 2024. He’s going to step aside (whether he realizes it now or not) and allow Harris to be President for a year or so. She won’t be the nominee either, (I don’t think she would want the job for another 4 yrs, too much work involved for her) but the Dems will be in the history books for having the 1st woman of color as POTUS.
As for who will be the nominee, I don’t know. I don’t think it matters...they won’t win.

Biden will be forced to bow out “due to unspecified medical concerns.” I think there will then be rat primaries in 2024, which will not select the ridiculous Harris. It leaves Newsome as the obvious nominee.
