“I have always been a staunch Trump supporter, voting for him twice. But his (apparent) stance on the Russian invasion of Ukraine gives me pause.”
Why aren’t you over there fighting? You just want someone else to die to satisfy what you consider is the right thing to do?
Trump’s stance on the Russian invasion is to negotiate an end to the war.
Do you have some strategy that is better, you and the other geniuses who are offering judgmental, insightful, wise comments on Trump’s wrong policie?
People like you want to send arms to Ukraine until the last Ukrainian is killed. Then what?
Or, you want to send arms to Ukraine until the last Ukrainian is killed and then send in American troops and start WWIII.
What are you talking about? Clinton gave nukes to N Korea
emotional outburst just like a liberal. Putin is a pscyho!
Yet this ‘pycho’ is rebuilding churches, banning grooming, and fighting the new world order.
We should be working with Putin, not against him.
How come you neoCONs never have a problem with CCP China infiltrating the US and killing our citizens with fetanyl, or with Mexico for invading our country and killing our citizens. Only with Russia?
He also knows he was the President of the worst offender on planet earth when it comes to invading foreign countries without any justification.
So every statement he makes on this subject is predicated on his very keen understanding of our total lack of any moral credibility to criticize Russia for invading its neighbor.
Fair has very little to do with geopolitics. Is it fair that our forefather sailed from wherever to America, blessed by two oceans, no natural enemies of substance and lots of natural resources and could develop in peace and prosperity while Eurasia fought wars to divvy up a limited pie?
What is the "fair" solution to that problem? Let all of "them" move here and destroy our lives as well?
The origin of conflict is when the two sides have mutually exclusive requirements. Russia, in order to feel secure, wants a feature that exists on the territory of a different country. Doesn’t that country have the right to feel secure also? That’s why those countries joined NATO. Will Lithuania invade Russia? Not a chance. So, why does Russia need to possess Lithuania to feel secure? I’d say it has more to do with solving Russia’s internal problems than it does with feeling secure. Russia has nuclear weapons. If someone tried to invade Russia they’d be wiped out.
It’s an interesting view that Russia needs to feel secure but no one living around Russia is allowed to feel secure. Remember, NATO is a voluntary organization. Nobody got coerced into joining. They joined precisely because they wanted to feel secure...from Russia. Why is it that Russia’s former Soviet bloc countries don’t want to be ruled by Russia? Because they know what being ruled by Russia means.
The area Finland had to cede to Russia was populated by the same people as Finland. But the Finnish have a lifestyle and income something like ten times as great as those under Russian control.
As far as an online discussion goes, this one has gone like this. Start with people already admit I’m right. Then, when there’s pushback go to personal insults. You do have the beginnings of a logical argument. But it assumes the rights of Russians are automatically greater than the rights of anyone else. Wow. It sucks to be anyone else.
As far as future conflict goes...conflict is driven by and powered by excess population. When the world was agrarian each woman had something like six children. As the world industrialized and people moved from farms, where children were free labor, to apartments, where children cost money, people had fewer. (Estimate for Russia is something like .8 per couple.) Unless we go back to subsistence farming no country in Europe will have the population to invade Russia. The evasion of Russia is happening now as Muslims continue to have children for the Jihad and Russians immigrate abroad for greater opportunity. Simply taking the populations of other countries that are not Muslim is one solution. But those countries don’t want to be Russian.
And this is why you would not be able to broker a peace.
Trump sees exactly what it would take for both sides.
Better red than dead.
Perfect response.
Trump stated he would appease Putin and hand over part of Ukraine.
He has no understanding of the situation .
He stated he would stop the WAR in one day .
When confronted about that stupid remark he hide .
Please spare me his BS .
Again no understanding
He folds like a cheap Suit during any confrontation .
He signed the Pelosi Budget in Dec 2020 when Grahmnesty told him too .
That Bill Funded 87,000 IRS agents Dem police force and
Mike Lee's Indian White Collar job Invasion force .
Curious….Is English your first language?
Just remember that they sent Ukraine a blank check but wouldn’t give Trump $4 billion to build a wall that protects Americans.
Tells you everything you need to know about those who rule over us.
Liberals have become the opposite of what they said they were in the ‘70’s.
Except for the Marxism, of course.
Which dictator should win?
Have you solved that problem yet?
Start with people already admit I’m right.
You don't get that luxury. Assume for a moment that YOU are right and look at all the goodness that flows. All I see flowing so far is blood.
And you globalist war mongers started the name calling so don't try to duck behind the you are just calling names defense.
The whole geopolitical construct of the US having a vital interest in a Eurasian landwar is the part of this that is on the table.
1. It’s not our busniess. 2. Neither side can win, so they killing and dying will go on for years.
The dicator who is for democracy since we are defending democracy.
Lost the argument .
So being petty and immature .
Do you include Crimea in the land that he must give back?
Just asking.
Please tell me why it in our national interest to send Zelenskyy more than $200bn in US tax dollars, money that we have to borrow and that could be used better at home.
Yes,there should be a referendum on qether Donna’s wants to join Russia.
