Exactly.

Yet they start deflecting that Trump this weekend was “asked”, not suggesting, about VP. So it was different.

But actually reading the article - no, it’s not different.

This is mentioned a lot, and indeed it doesn’t sit well on its own, but my understanding is FL is constantly going back and forth with that. So it is not unusual.

Which is better than peppering the News page with endless threads of Trump hailing and DeSantis Hatred.

"but my understanding is FL is constantly going back and forth with that. So it is not unusual."

Rino Charlie Crist had the law changed when he was Governor because he thought he was in line to be McCain's V.P. Rick Scott had the law changed back to its original form when he became Governor. DeSantis changed it again. Your understanding is wrong. It isn't done "constantly".

Changing the rules to suit a political candidate's needs in my opinion, is an abuse of power. It stinks of a Governor using the Republican majority in the State Legislature to help himself politically. It stinks whether it's a Republican, Democrat or Independent doing it.

It's as smelly as life-long Democrat Michael Bloomberg running as a Republican on Rudy's coat-tails, because that was the only way a Democrat could get elected in 2001 after 9/11. In 1993, while Rudy was Mayor, the Democrat-controlled New York City Council changed the term of office for Mayor from an unlimited number of four year terms, to two, four year terms. It was the first time since 1905 that the Mayor's term of office had been changed. The City Council also refused Rudy's request to be able to remain in office a few extra months to see the city through the aftermath of 9/11. In 2007, Bloomberg changed his party affiliation from Republican to Independent. In 2008, Bloomberg requested the Democrat-controlled City Council allow him to run for a third term. They granted his wish and he was re-elected, serving a total of 12 years as Mayor. In November 2010, the City Council changed it back to two terms. In 2018, Bloomberg went back to being a Democrat.

Yes I agree
I did read tho that Ramaswamy said he use EO to get things done. Don’t realky like that. Biden is an example

How the executive branch departments execute their lawful duties in detail is where executive orders are required and sensible. If Vivek tells the DOJ to reduce manpower in the FBI or Justice Department, that is entirely within the Presidential prevue and the use of EO is a sensible way to do it. Completely eliminating a department would take congressional cooperation.

We have seen what Biden has done through EO
I am concerned with anyone who says ge will use EO to do things He thinks is right

I know your concern and I cannot argue with your feelings however I want you to consider this: Leftist civil service employees of various executive branches can ignore political appointees and claim misunderstanding or conflict with current of previous policies — however an EO can fence them in where they can be fired for disobedience.

Leftist fed employees are a Huge problem.
I woud like too see many if them fired but that won’t happen.
To your point leftists feds will do more danage IMO than a conservative POTUS implementing EOs.
