Post Modernism is at work here my friend. The only reality is what the group thinks. You must respect the group’s beliefs and your thoughts and beliefs aren’t valid unless they agree with the group.

Since white folks and Christians are evil and the US is thought of as White and Christian, we are always wrong. Post Modernism 101 or Socialism 101.

No pathological hatred for Russia that I know of. This is either American ignorance at play or Russian vranyo.

For twenty years Europe and the UK was bending over backwards AND forwards to keep Moscow happy - seat on the European Council despite failing on the qualifications, Eurovision, Euro soccer clubs, leagues and competitions; oligarch schmoozing (Peter Mandelson, Abramovitch, football clubs, Derepaska’s yacht, muted reaction to the Salisbury incident...)

Go on, tell me the USA wouldn’t have at least threatened a declaration of war if any other terrorist state had dosed an American town with a lethal nerve agent.

Fifteen years of using fuel blackmail, cyber warfare on our healthcare systems, and nuclear smack talk went totally unpunished unless you count President Trump joking about putting American subs on the doorstep of Russia.

With Russia invading Ukraine and now threatening European and American capitols with nukes every five minutes, Putin has crossed a line.

Difference between the UK and Russia is we don’t toss ourselves off constantly over 120 year old maps. Our empire has gone, and we’re nowhere near arguing that it needs to be reinstated.

I’ve got hundreds of Russian colleagues as well as Ukrainian ones, been dragged into some utterly stupid empire restoration culture war that Putin has been fighting in his own diseased head ever since the Berlin Wall fell and he got a hard on reading Dugin books on the lavatory.

I’m just as gutted about the brilliant engineers Putin’s retarded ambition has sent to get blown up in Ukraine as I’m gutted by my Ukrainian colleagues getting mobilised.

None of it was necessary.

I wish nothing but goodwill to the eleven time zone Russia. But Putin, Dugin, Zhirinovsky, Kadyrov, Medvedev and the oligarchs... they’re all totally rotten to the core, and they’re converts to a suicide cult that is far more likely to destroy the world than Isis ever was.

Mad, bad and dangerous.

The sooner Russia wakes up to that, and ITSELF puts those lunatics permanently out of commission, the better.

Putin was offered a golden ticket into the same finance system. All he had to do was agree to the principle that Russian finance should be amenable to external audit.

Mikhail Khordokovsky opened his businesses up to external audits to prove they were clean.

Khordokovsky also reminded Putin that he’d stood for high office on an anti corruption ticket.

So it’s ironic that Putin, who was elected on an anti corruption ticket, didn’t just reject the Khordokovsky advice... He confiscated those businesses, broke them up, handed bits of them over to his mates, and they’re now worthless.

The EU invited Putin to renegotiate the EU-Russia arrangements if he wasn’t happy with them. He turned the offer down in favor of blackmailing Ukraine into abandoning its EU deal.

“Russia strikes back” my ass.

Putin routinely chooses to force Russians to put on hair shirts despite offers from the west to wear something more comfortable... then he goes around blaming the west for Russia’s itchy rags.

Putin just can’t help himself. It’s his fault Russia is a basket case, nobody elses’.

Get ready for BRICS to develop a competitive network for the rest of the world and watch the banking totalitarians of the West howl.

What you refuse to realize is that the U.K. became a vassal state of America after WW2. You lost. You are ruled by American viceroys and a Vichy-style government. Every political stupidity that comes out of the putrid pesthole called Washington DC is instantly parroted by London. Embrace the suck.

Basically... Mr. Putin seems to have noticed the thing about all the streets in EU-NatoLand being marked one-way, and is taking his ball and going home.

You UK itizens have nothing of your own. America dismantled the British Empire, put a new face on it, and called it NATO and “the Rules-Based Order.” How do you like living in the American Empire without a vote? Do you ever wonder why Europeans have been itching to vote in America’s presidential election? It’s because they know they don’t have a say in who rules them.

“Large cargo ships move 50 average trainloads of cargo. Saying you can replace cargo ships with trains is like saying you can replace a freight train with a fleet of semi trucks.”

Thanks, and very true. That occurred to me after our ‘discussion’ (LOL). I suspect that the tracks, and trains, in Poland are quite busy even without having to add all of the munitions and other equipment meant for transport on the ‘grain vessels’ (LOL).

I was hoping for a serious answer. Typical brit BS.

“tell me the USA wouldn’t have at least threatened a declaration of war if any other terrorist state had dosed an American town with a lethal nerve agent”

It was another Brit intel community lie. It was Fentanyl. And it occurred in the very backyard of the Brit chemical warfare center. And the gassed guy was someone who Putin released from prison in a swap. He was a Steele associate (of Trump piss “dossier” fame).

So the Brit version: Putin keeps this guy in prison where he was serving time for being a Brit spy, where his death would be remarkably easy, a random prison stabbing cover story, or simply he vanishes. Easy. He was sitting there for 4 years.
So in 2010 Russia swaps him for a bunch of other spies. Medvedev pardons him... sends him to England where he buys a house in Salisbury.. in the shadow of Porton Down. The Brit chemical warfare center. And goes to work for his old handler Steele.

So the cagey Russians wait 8 years with this guy living in the open. Openly working for the Brits. And they spray him and his daughter (who still lived in Russia and was visiting the UK) with some hyper deadly nerve gas. None of the first responders got exposed. None of the medical people did. And the nerve gas failed to kill either one of them.
And the Russians try this 8 years after his release, and ensure they will never get another spy swap, and their deadly nerve gas failed spectacularly.

Of course, the real story? Skirpal was used by Steele to give “Russian flavor” to the dossier he created right there at home. The dossier was exposed as a likely fraud created from whole cloth by Steele, in the year leading up the the poisoning. As a double agent, Steele knew he was the weakest link and people from Porton Down sprayed him with Fentanyl. Then immediately released a “Russia did it story”.

It was Perfidious Albion, and was part of the clean up of the pissgate story pushed by the UK intel community. British spy chief Robert Hannigan GCHQ resigned the year before “for family reasons”. And Skirpal got sprayed. When the Brit lie failed and Trump won, they went into damage control mode.

Russia didn’t do it and it wasn’t nerve gas. It was Brit intel, and it was fentanyl.

Nerve gas in the face kills. Ask Kim Jong Un’s brother.
