People it is all a lie. There is nothing that man can do (that nature does not already do) to affect the earth’s climate.
You speak the ABSOLUTE TRUTH!
Earth is, and ALWAYS will be a SELF-CORRECTING SELF-SUSTAINING SYSTEM.

I went for a sea swim yesterday, and the water was 60 °F. Bracing. 54° 19’ N.

Happens in shallow seas in summertime. And, yes, it’s hurricane season.

My guess is the way the sensor is mounted. Probably sunlight is heating metal and the sensor is mounted somewhere on that metal. At a depth of 4.9 feet? Doesn't add up.

Wonder if a power boat passed close to the buoy. Circulating systems release warm raw water, especially with multiple engine setups. Dolphin (Mahi) tend to hang out near structure, like buoys. Maybe that boat did affect the water temperature for a few minutes when they stopped for a few casts.

Yes, but this was one reading on one buoy in Manatee bay, which is a) tiny and b) super shallow. The nav. Charts show it ranges from 2 feet to 6 feet. I had to check the sounding data twice, but its definitely feet, not fathoms.
Even if the temp reported is correct, there isn’t enough stored energy to power a thunderstorm, let alone a hurricane.

Pending no anomalies with the data, ...A big big assumption. Prove there were no anomalies and then get back to us.
